HONOR RESPECT COMMITMENT<br />
From the Director’s Desk<br />
The Director of the <strong>NOAA</strong> <strong>Corps</strong> has established core values for the <strong>NOAA</strong> <strong>Commissioned</strong><br />
Officer <strong>Corps</strong> – Honor; Respect; and Commitment. A memorandum outlining those values<br />
was sent to each officer. Similar to the oath that all officers take, core values remind us of the<br />
importance of our profession and commitment to duty and the nation.<br />
<strong>CPC</strong> continues to work with the Office of Legislative Affairs to draft legislation addressing a<br />
number of issues which we believe will enhance <strong>NOAA</strong> <strong>Corps</strong> operations in the future. As<br />
soon as we are able, we will make a copy of the draft legislation available to all.<br />

PERSONNEL ACTION REQUESTS<br />
<strong>CPC</strong> is currently testing a new module for the OPF online that will allow the field to submit<br />
documents and personnel action requests via the web. We are planning to release the module<br />
within the next two weeks. Until the module is released, please continue to submit documents<br />
and personnel action requests on official correspondence, not via email.<br />
