Conditions of Entry
1. Entries will close on Monday 1 st August 2011 at 9pm. Only one name per entry form will be
accepted. All entries must be accompanied by the appropriate entry fee and should be sent to:
Tournament Secretary,
Glasnevin Lawn Tennis Club,
Ballymun Road, Dublin 9.
(Cheques should be made payable to Glasnevin L.T.C.)
2. Babolat Tennis Balls will be used.
3. In all events matches will be the best of 3 tie break sets.
4. The committee reserves the right not to hold any event where in its opinion the number of
entries is inadequate.
5. The Tournament Committee of Glasnevin LTC and sponsors will not be held responsible for
any injury, illness, or accident on or off court to any player or guest or for any property
damaged, lost or stolen.
6. Play commences at 10.00am on Saturday the 6 th August and Sunday the 7 th August and at
6.00pm on weekdays. It is the duty of each competitor to acquaint themselves with the time
of play of their match and check in 15 minutes before the start time.
7. All competitors must be available to play either all day Saturday the 6 th and or all day
Sunday 7 th August.
8. Matches will be played on courts designated by the Tournament Committee and may include
courts at alternative venues. Floodlights will be used when necessary.
9. In all matters of dispute the decision of the Tournament Referee will be final.
10. No complaint in connection with the Tournament will be entertained by the Tournament
Committee unless made in writing and lodged with the Tournament Committee within 48
hours of the occurrence of the incident.
11. Finals will be played from 4pm on Saturday 13 th August 2011, with Prize giving taking place
that evening, all prize winners must attend.
12. The draw will take place in the Clubhouse on Wednesday 3 rd August 2011, and times of play
for Saturday 6 th and Sunday 7 th August will be available on Thursday 4 th from 7pm by ringing
01 837 1042 or on the website www.ti.tournamentsoftware.com.
13. No competitor may enter more than 3 events.
14. The minimum age for all senior events is over 16 years on 01/1/2011. The tournament is
restricted to Class 2 and below. The Tournament Committee has the right to exclude any
player whose standard is considered above the class for which the player has entered.
15. Recognised Tennis Attire must be worn.
