‣ We provide a service free of charge to Employers<br />
and Apprentices<br />
‣ We administer the Commonwealth incentives<br />

Productivity Places Program<br />
‣ The Productivity Places Program (PPP) is a<br />
Government funded initiative put in place for<br />
existing workers in certain occupations.<br />
‣ Certificate IV Aged Care<br />
‣ Certificate IV Children Services<br />
‣ Certificate IV Financial Services<br />
‣ Certificate IV Hospitality<br />
‣ Certificate IV Horticulture<br />
‣ Certificate IV Road Transport<br />
‣ Certificate IV Laboratory Technology
Existing Workers<br />
‣Existing Workers are employees who have<br />
been with the employer for 3 months full<br />
time or 12 months part time or casual.<br />
‣PPP is available to any age group.<br />
‣PPP is currently only available until 30<br />
December 2009.

Fast Tracking<br />
What is Fast Track Apprenticeships<br />
‣ The Fast-Track Apprenticeships Program<br />
provides opportunities for apprentices to<br />
achieve their qualifications earlier by<br />
becoming competent in a shorter time.
How<br />
‣ Fast tracking can commence anytime<br />
during an apprenticeship. The Registered<br />
Training Organisation (RTO), Will assess<br />
the progress and if the apprentice has the<br />
knowledge and skills to be assessed as<br />
competent earlier than the nominal time<br />
they can complete the block and/or their<br />
training.
Skilled Workforce<br />
‣ Employers and apprentices will benefit<br />
from this initiative as employers will have a<br />
more highly skilled workforce, and<br />
apprentices will be able to complete their<br />
apprenticeships when they are competent,<br />
rather than when they have served the<br />
time deemed necessary to complete the<br />
qualification.

‣ Apprentices and employers involved in<br />
Fast-Track Apprenticeships activities can<br />
apply for Australian Apprenticeships<br />
incentives and Benefits. Your Account<br />
Manager will assess you for eligibility<br />
when signing up an Apprentice.
