Women of Epiphany Lutheran Church, Houston, Day Lilies, busy
SHOWER—The ladies of Epiphany Day Lilies hosted
a baby shower for their adopted seminarian and his
family in Fort Wayne, Ind. The gifts were then boxed and
sent to them as a surprise. The shower was for the seminarian’s
fourth child, Olivia, who arrived in January.
SHARING—The group also made 25 Christmas baking
baskets for clients of Cypress Assistance Ministry. These
baskets enabled mothers to bake with their children for
the holiday.
MITES IN ACTION—The final payment to Lutheran Social
Services of the South (LSS) was made for the mission
grant, “Guiding God’s Little Lambs—A Spiritual Care
Program for Abused Children. ”LWML Texas District Vice-
President of Human Care Sara Frank (center), is making
the presentation to LSS Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kurt
Senske.
