Pastor Seeger’s love for deaf youth
The Rev. Mark Seeger, pastor at Jesus Lutheran Church for the Deaf, Austin,
has a love for youth. Since Pastor Seeger began his ministry in 1991 at Jesus
Lutheran Church for the Deaf, approximately
2,000 youth have “heard” the saving message
of Jesus Christ through his magnetic smile
and his hands using sign language. The youth
come from throughout Texas for their education
at the Texas School for the Deaf, which is
across the street from Jesus Lutheran Church.
The youth pictured not only are graduating
seniors, but they are also returning home as
missionaries for Christ because of a new
training program initiated by Pastor Seeger.

Development Advisory Council
A host of great people have accepted the role of serving on the Development Advisory Council for Texas
Partners in Mission. This group met in regional meetings in 2011 during November and December. Its main
role is to provide advice and encouragement to the director of development.
