This conference will bring together chemists, physicists, biologists and leaders in nanotechnology
to discusss modern approaches
to the development of analytical, microelectronic,
and other
functional devices using self-assembly approaches. The conference will span a broad range of
technological interestss situated at the convergence of top-down and bottom-up methods
that range
from DNA separationss to novel microelectro
onics applications. A key k component of this conferencee
will be to bring together researchers from disparate disciplines too cross-fertilize new and exciting
areas of research. For example, the conference
will allow for experts in the physics of
nanoelectronics to engage researchers who focus on the microfluidics for advanced separations
s
and to open lines of communication between block polymer self-assembly researchers with
biologist in
need of specific analytical tools to advance
the field of o genomics. With such a diversee
set of participants, the conference will spawn exciting new areass of research and collaboration in
the rapid growing field
of nanotechnology.
The format of the conference will be oral presentations from 12 invited speakers with ample time
for discussion. Also, attendees are invited too present their research during a poster session.

Poster presenters need to submit an abstract of no more than 2000 characters (including spaces)
by May 3rd, 2013. The abstracts (electronic format only – pdf. file) will be published in digital
proceedings (USB key).
