Call for Quotation for the purchase of various Furniture items.
Please quote your rate and other terms and conditions for the supply of the
following articles WITH THE CERTIFICATE THAT THE RATES QUOTED ARE NOT HIGHER THAT
THOSE QUOTED TO DGS&D AND OTHER DEPARTMENTS/INSTITUTIONS.
The envelope containing the Quotation would be sealed and super scribed as:‐

NOTE:‐
1. TECHNICAL BID & PRICE BID AND BID GUARANTEE WORTH Rs.10,000/‐(EMD) ARE TO BE
SUBMITTED SEPARATELY IN THREE SEPARTE ENVELOPS AND THESE SHOULD BE PUT IN
AN OUTER ENVELOPE, SUPER SCRIBED, NAME OF ITEM AND DUE DATE.
2. THE EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT IS ACCEPTABLE IN THE SHAPE OF CALL DEPOSIT
RECEIPT/TERM DEPOSIT RECEIPT OR FIXED DEPOSIT RECEIPT VAILD FOR SIX MONTHS
BEYOND THE FINAL BID VALIDITY PERIOD FROM ANY SCHEDULED BANK IN FAVOUR OF
THE PRINCIPAL, GOVT. COLLEGE OF COMMERCE AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION,

SECTOR 42, CHANDIGARH PAYABLE AT CHANDIGARH. EARNEST MONEY IN ANY OTHER
SHAPE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
3. In case of delay in supply beyond the period given in Quotation letter/Supply order the
penalty shall be Imposed @ 0.1% per day.
Other terms and conditions of the supply will be as under:‐
1. S.Tax/Vat will be paid extra, if applicable, provided it is made clear in the quotation that
S.Tax/Vat will be charged extra. Otherwise it will be presumed that S.Tax/VAT is not to
be paid extra. The S.Tax/VAT number allotted to the Individual firm by the Government
is also required to be mentioned on the quotation. Similar will be in case of Excise Duty.
The rate of S.Tax/VAT is as per Govt. rules/Instructions as applicable w.e.f. April, 2007,
wherever applicable.
2. The rates must be quoted for F.O.R. Govt. College of Commerce & Business
Administration, Sector 42, Chandigarh.
3. The rate should be quoted both in words and figures, failing which the quotation will
not be considered.
4. Validity period for each item may be specifically mentioned in your quotation (which
should be at least for one year).
5. Delivery period for each item may be specifically mentioned in your quotation, which
should not be more than 15 days.
6. The quotation may be addressed to the Principal, Government College of Commerce &
Business Administration, Sector 42, Chandigarh.
7. In case there is any warranty, it should be mentioned.
8. The brand name and name of the manufacturer must be mentioned.
In case any of the above condition is not fulfilled, the quotations shall stand rejected.
9. The Principal can ask for samples to be displayed in the college premises.
10. Any dispute arising out of the supply and billing shall be within the jurisdiction of the
Chandigarh.
This may please be treated as MOST URGENT and your reply/Quotation should reach in
this on or before 24.3.2012 upto 2:00P.M. and the same will be opened on 26.03.2012
at 3.00P.M. in the presents of C.P.C. constituted by the competent authority.
