Having finished cleaning his face up, Winona proceeds to help<br />
Raylan out of his shirt. He groans and grimaces, as we see<br />
the BRUISING all over his chest and back.<br />
WINONA<br />
Little old to be fighting aren’t<br />
you<br />
RAYLAN<br />
Certainly too old to be losing.<br />
Raylan painfully lays down. Winona rolls some <strong>co</strong>vers over<br />
him. Is essentially putting him to bed.<br />
WINONA<br />
Thank you, Raylan. You’re a good<br />
man.<br />
Raylan nods. Winona now rises, grabs her purse, and heads<br />
out. Once she’s gone:<br />
RAYLAN<br />
Apparently not good enough.<br />
Off Raylan, alone in his dirty motel room...<br />
7 EXT. SUBURBAN HOME - DAY<br />

A perfectly nice home on a perfectly nice street. Middle<br />
class. Quiet. A lawn. Probably something like what you<br />
grew up in. MOVE OFF THE HOUSE TO FIND --<br />
GARY HAWKINS, sitting in his car, staring at the house. He<br />
looks <strong>co</strong>nflicted, uneasy... but beyond that, he looks like<br />
shit. Hair mussed. Clothes wrinkled. Tired. He’s a man<br />
backed into a <strong>co</strong>rner, and it shows. Steeling himself he gets<br />
out of the car, starts towards the house.<br />
8 EXT. SUBURBAN HOME - BACKYARD - DAY<br />

Find TOBY GRIFFIN, Black, early 40s, watching TWO YOUNG GIRLS<br />
play on a jungle gym. Meanwhile, from the BACK DOOR of the<br />
house, watch AMANDA GRIFFIN, 30s, black, pretty and put<br />
together, exit, followed closely by Gary.<br />
