travel around the U.S. cheering up<br />
patients in hospitals, letting kids read to<br />
her in schools, <strong>and</strong> visiting people in<br />
nursing homes.<br />

Since Faith was missing two legs, she<br />
has overcome her disability by<br />
learning some unique skills.<br />
Sometimes when we’re lacking in<br />
one area, we can build up new skills<br />
to compensate. Draw a big star on<br />
paper with beams streaming out.<br />
Write inside the star the characteristics<br />
you might be missing in your life. On<br />
the beams, write skills that you can<br />
strengthen. Color in your star <strong>and</strong><br />
build your strengths.<br />
