ReAwaken, Inc.
Reclaim, overcome, thrive
ReAwaken, a tax-exempt organization, believes
that every woman deserves to have the ability,
resources, supportive network and emotional
care necessary to overcome the challenges of life’s
obstacles and episodes.
“All women, regardless of age, have the tools
and right to become the vibrant and empowered
woman inside of themselves that may have once
been disrupted during a crisis,” says founder Jarrett
Ransom.
Establishing a network of women who can
empathize with life’s challenges of being divorced,
becoming a single parent, sexual harassment or
any form of abuse.
ReAwaken was born in 2011 with the help of
women in Phoenix who had a desire to connect
and become a part of their community.
“Our vision is to provide an annual retreat in
a natural setting that allows women to reconnect
with their own inner woman. This is the woman
that lives inside of you but often gets little time
for herself ”, says Ransom.
This newly formed organization is designed to
empower women of all ages, sexual orientations,
to provide a spiritual retreat annually to slough
off the dead skin of their life and begin refreshed
and new upon returning to the Valley. Additionally,
ReAwaken will provide monthly workshops.
Ransom, a nonprofit professional with a Master’s
degree in Business Administration and a
passion for empowering women, was inspired

to from her own life’s obstacles
and successes. As a single mom
of a toddler, Ransom has experienced her own
personal challenges and professional struggles
and wants to provide a spiritual environment to
enable other women, just like her, to reclaim their
inner self and reignite their inner strength. With
an understanding of pain, emotional instability
and financial struggles, she has dedicated her own
path to providing a resource to other women who
also find themselves in challenges and being met
with obstacles throughout their life. “Starting this
women’s retreat just felt right. It was the right
place and right time.”
ReAwaken For Women is designed to be a
three-day “Festival of the spirit” for women who
are interested in personal growth. At this weekend
retreat, held in the Northern Arizona Mountains
August 24-26, women are exposed to an
array of activities allowing them to explore their
inner talents while forming bonds with other caring
females.
Each activity is created with the unique needs
of the participating population. The number of
women invited to this three-day event ranges
from 20 to over 100 depending on the location,
financial backing and structure. Organizers are in
the process of securing facilitators and speakers.
