NCDO training / certification programmes for Participants<br />
<strong>NSDL</strong> conducts training and certification programmes for Participants to increase the availability of trained<br />
personnel for depository operations. In November <strong>2010</strong>, such programmes were conducted in Aurangabad,<br />
Changanacherry (Kerala), Coimbatore, Guwahati, Kochi, Kozhikode (Calicut -Kerala), Mumbai, Panaji (Goa),<br />
Pune, Rajpalayam (Tamil Nadu), Ranchi, Sangli, Siliguri, Trichy and Vadodara. In all, 668 persons attended the<br />
training programmes conducted at these locations.<br />
Continuation of depository operations - Basis Point Securities Private Limited<br />
Basis Point Securities Private Limited (DP ID IN303487) had earlier decided to discontinue its depository<br />
operations. It has now informed <strong>NSDL</strong> that it will be continuing its depository operations.<br />
This has been informed to Participants vide Circular No. <strong>NSDL</strong>/PI/<strong>2010</strong>/2584 dated November 18, <strong>2010</strong>.<br />
Termination of Integrated Stock Broking Services Private Limited as a Participant<br />
Participants are hereby informed that as Integrated Stock Broking Services Private Limited (DP ID IN302041),<br />
a Participant of <strong>NSDL</strong>, does not meet the eligibility criteria to be a Participant of <strong>NSDL</strong>, it has been advised to<br />
close down its depository operations.<br />
This has been informed to Participants vide Circular No. <strong>NSDL</strong>/PI/<strong>2010</strong>/2655 dated November 25, <strong>2010</strong>.<br />
Subscription to SPEED-e<br />
Three more Participants have subscribed to the SPEED-e facility:<br />
Acumen Capital Markets (India) Limited (DP ID IN300896)<br />
Canon Capital and Finance Ltd. (DP ID IN303850)<br />
BMA Wealth Creators Limited (DP ID IN303794)<br />
Clients of the above mentioned Participants can now avail of the facility of submitting various instructions<br />
through SPEED-e facility.<br />
This takes the total number of Participants who have subscribed to SPEED-e to 103.<br />
