that purpose I ask you k<strong>in</strong>dly to send me your short CV or descripti<strong>on</strong> about<br />

your career <strong>and</strong> your current positi<strong>on</strong> <strong>in</strong> your <strong>in</strong>stitute. The deadl<strong>in</strong>e is <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

end <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> September 2010.<br />

Each <str<strong>on</strong>g>panel</str<strong>on</strong>g>list is expected to prepare <strong>in</strong> advance a short <strong>in</strong>troductory remarks<br />

max 5-7 m<strong>in</strong>utes (max 3 slides) per each. It is important to note <strong>and</strong> to keep<br />

this time limit <strong>in</strong> order to allow general <str<strong>on</strong>g>discussi<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>in</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> workshop.<br />

Each <str<strong>on</strong>g>panel</str<strong>on</strong>g>list could present her/his view about some basic management<br />

questi<strong>on</strong>s accord<strong>in</strong>g to your own priorities. You can talk about some specific<br />

issues (like public trust; quality; work<strong>in</strong>g with stakeholders; HRM etc) or<br />

discuss several issues (but please remember <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> time limit!). The follow<strong>in</strong>g<br />

questi<strong>on</strong>s might help you <strong>in</strong> draft<strong>in</strong>g your c<strong>on</strong>tributi<strong>on</strong>:<br />

questi<strong>on</strong>s to all <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> you <strong>and</strong> also to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> audience. So far - <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong> additi<strong>on</strong> to<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> questi<strong>on</strong>s presented above - I have two general questi<strong>on</strong>s <strong>in</strong> my m<strong>in</strong>d<br />

<strong>and</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>y are<br />

- Do you see it useful to <strong>in</strong>tensify co-operati<strong>on</strong> am<strong>on</strong>g <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> ECLAC countries’<br />

NSI’s as regards management questi<strong>on</strong>s <strong>in</strong> general If yes, how this<br />

could be implemented <strong>in</strong> practice What would be <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> most useful/urgent areas<br />

list <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>se questi<strong>on</strong>s. However, my ma<strong>in</strong> wish is to have an active audience<br />

<strong>and</strong> to give room for all <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> participants as much as possible. Let’s work toge<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r<br />

for that purpose <strong>and</strong> make this <str<strong>on</strong>g>panel</str<strong>on</strong>g> as <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> lively as possible.<br />
