Inspired by the surf and sand, Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay’s 442 luxuriously
appointed guest rooms, including 23 spacious suites and 45 villa-style
casitas, were recently redesigned with the Florida coast in mind. To update and
enhance the rooms’ modern and sophisticated new look, designers Looney &
Associates of Dallas, Texas, used a soothing color palette, rich linen textures and
dramatic woods, creating a casually chic and inviting atmosphere. Modern finishes
and fixtures, a generously sized desk with polished chrome accents, sculptural
tables, plush bedding and a spa-like bathroom evoke a contemporary yet coastalcasual
feeling that leaves guests well rested and energized.
