Intermediate level Worksheet 4 Below is a report Bond writes to M at the end of the mission. There are 11 mistakes in the report. Find the mistakes and correct them. Dear M What an adventure! So much for an easy mission! Commander Strangeways was murdered but his secretary escaped. He was killed because he was investigating the strange island called Turtle Key. I travelled to the island with a friend, Quarrel, where we were attacked by a fire breathing machine. Quarrel tried to attack the machine but he drowned in the swamp. The strange Doctor No was using the island to spy on the Russian army. They were testing new weapons on the island. Doctor No was going to sell the information to the Americans for a lot of money. Doctor No captured me and killed my friend Honey. Then he made me take a terrible test. I had to pass through a burning pipe. Then I had to crawl through a cage full of poisonous snakes. Then I fell into the sea where a giant shark tried to kill me. Eventually I passed the tests and killed Doctor No with my knife. Then I escaped from the island by myself in a motorboat.
