CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
In last decades the substantial and undisputed increase in the use
of mathematical methods for modelling in many branches of
natural and engineering sciences can be observed. Among a great
variety of problems that have successfully been coped with are
the thermal problems themselves as well as their coupling with
other multiphysics phenomena. Such approach is also stimulated
by growing offer of user friendly commercial as well as open
source software making thermal analyses efficient and accurate.
The objective of the Numerical Heat Transfer 2012 International
Conference is to provide a forum for the presentation of new
approaches to the numerical solutions of heat transfer problems.
Methods of interest include all well established and efficient
numerical techniques like finite volume method, finite elements,
boundary elements and meshless methods. Special attention is paid
to complex thermal problems from engineering practice, solved by
hybrid methods and their coupling to multiphysics processes.
Numerical Heat Transfer 2012 International Conference is of
importance to all scientists, engineers and PhD students who are
actively involved in developing innovative approaches, as well as in
solving a variety of industrial problems. This conference will also
create favourable conditions for establishing and strengthening of
scientific links between Western and Eastern research communities.
CONFERENCE VENUE
The NHT 2012 conference will be held in Wrocław (German
Breslau) in Hotel Jana Pawła II. This is four-star hotel beautifully
located in the old city centre where organisers arranged
a special room rates:
Single room (with breakfast): 220 PLN (approx. € 55)
Double room (with breakfast): 320 PLN (approx. € 80)
Double room with single occupancy: 250 PLN (approx. € 63)
Wrocław is the chief city in south-western Poland, situated on the
River Oder (Polish: Odra). Wrocław is the former capital of Silesia
and today, capital of Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The unique feature
of the city is a result of the fact that over the years city belonged to
Poland, Bohemia, Austria, Prussia or Germany. The town is a vivid
cultural center with dozens of music, film and theatre festivals held
every year, over hundred thousand of students and numerous good
restaurants and hotels. According to official population figures
Wrocław is nowadays the fourth largest city in Poland.

CALL FOR PAPERS
Papers are invited on the CONFERENCE TOPICS and others
falling within the scope of the conference. An Abstract of no
more than two A4 pages, clearly stating the purpose of the
work, results and conclusions should be submitted through
Internet to the Conference Secretariat as soon as possible and
no later than 1 April 2012. Please indicate which topic you are
submitting the Abstract for. The final acceptance will depend
upon the review of the submitted abstract.
A set of contributed full manuscript submissions will be
selected by Scientific Committee for post-conference
publication in special issues of the International Journal of
Numerical Methods for Heat & Fluid Flow.
Proceedings of the conference containing accepted abstracts
in an electronic as well as paperbound form will be available to
the participants at the registration.
