You are to complete a 50 minute test to demonstrate the map skills that you have acquired during the ‘My
Place – Where are we’ unit of work.
Who is my audience
My teacher.
What is my purpose
To demonstrate your ability to identify national and international geographical locations and to confidently
locate places using compass points, latitude and longitude, and grid references.
What do I need to do
1. You need to read through each question carefully and write my answers neatly onto my answer
booklet.
2. You must attempt to answer every question.
Conditions:
• Students will be completing the test under exam conditions during class time.
• Students will be allocated 50 minutes to complete the test.
