• To join our <strong>Clinical</strong> <strong>Audit</strong> <strong>Panel</strong><br />
What is the <strong>Clinical</strong> <strong>Audit</strong> <strong>Panel</strong><br />
This is a new initiative which aims to<br />
establish a group of volunteers to bring<br />
the user/carer perspective to clinical<br />
audit projects with the aim of improving<br />
<strong>Health</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Social</strong> <strong>Care</strong> services.<br />

What is <strong>Clinical</strong> <strong>Audit</strong><br />
<strong>Clinical</strong> <strong>Audit</strong> is a quality improvement<br />
process that: -<br />
• Examines the services we provide<br />
• Compares what we do with what<br />
should be done<br />
• Helps us identify areas where<br />
improvements.<br />
How can you be involved<br />
Patients, users <strong>and</strong> carers can play an<br />
important part in helping us shape our<br />
services.<br />
If you volunteer, your participation can<br />
be tailored to suit your individual<br />
circumstances.<br />
You will initially receive general induction<br />
training <strong>and</strong> more specific <strong>Clinical</strong> <strong>Audit</strong><br />
training including:<br />
• Planning <strong>and</strong> designing audits<br />
• Data collection<br />
• Data analysis.<br />
Your travel expenses will be reimbursed,<br />
plus any additional expenses you may<br />
incur in supporting our work<br />
