TOWN BOARD 

JUNE 21, 2011 

The regular meeting of the Town Board was held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in the Erich Gnant 

Room of the Town Hall, 645 N Janacek Road, Brookfield, WI. 

ProTem Chairperson Patrick Stroebel called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. with the following 

people present: Supervisors: John Schatzman, Mike Maxwell and Dan Shea and, Administrator 

Richard Czopp, and the Town Clerk Jane Carlson to record the minutes. 

APPROVAL OF AGENDA 

Supervisor Schatzman moved to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Supervisor Shea, 

voted on, carried unanimously. 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES 

Supervisor Schatzman said that in the June 7, 2011 Town Board minutes the wording for the 

tabling motion for the Accessory Structures is not representative of what the Board was trying to 

do. The item was on the agenda to have the Board review the standards of accessory structures 

and the motion needs to include verbiage that the tabling was the modifications of the standards 

of accessory structures. 

Supervisor Shea moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the June 7, 2011 Town 

Board meeting and approve them with the corrections Supervisor Schatzman noted, seconded by 

Supervisor Schatzman, voted on and carried unanimously. 

PUBLIC COMMENT None. 

OLD BUSINESS None. 

NEW BUSINESS 

a. LIQUOR LICENSES 

Supervisor Schatzman moved to approve all liquor licenses as presented and as published 

for the licensing year July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 (see attached list), seconded by 

Supervisor Shea, voted on and carried unanimously 

b. BARTENDER LICENSES 

Supervisor Shea to approve the July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 bartender licenses as 

listed (see attached), seconded by Supervisor Maxwell, voted on, carried unanimously. 

DEPARTMENT, BOARDS, COMMITTEE/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATIONS 

None. 

VOUCHERS 

Supervisor Shea moved to approve the vouchers as presented in the amount of $57,349.06, 

seconded by Supervisor Schatzman, voted on, and carried unanimously.

Included in the approved vouchers were: $12,675.00 to The Horton Group Inc., for auto, general 

liability and worker comp insurance; $9,850.09 to Cramer, Multhauf & Hammes for legal fees 

and $7,364.28 to Scott Oil/Heating Co for vehicle fuel. 

COMMUNICATIONS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS 

The attached list of correspondence was reviewed by members of the Board with no comment. 

Administrator Czopp reminded the board that the July 4th celebration is less than 2 weeks away. 

There being no further business Supervisor Schatzman moved to adjourn, seconded by 

Supervisor Maxwell, voted on and carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
