Prestige Premium STK Cedar Decking
Not All Cedar Is Created Equal
When considering the Life Cycle Assessment of Prestige STK Cedar Decking, it
substantially outperforms man-made products. However, unlike Inland Red Cedar
which is a sub-species of Western Red Cedar, Coastal Western Red Cedar from
Coastal British Columbia has inherent characteristics that deliver enhanced longevity
and durability over inland cedar products.

Western Red Cedar Deck Accessories
6x6 - Available in 8’-16’ Even Lengths
Green # 2 and better S4S clear export grade which has a limited number of natural characteristics
and is specified when appearance of the highest quality is desired. Expertly packaged 16 piece
units with polyethylene wrap and crated in OSB on all sides.
4x4 - Available in 8’-16’ Even Lengths
Aye and Better grade is available in the most popular lengths and packed in manageable quantity
piece units. Slightly more natural characteristics are allowed in Aye grade when compared to
Clear VG Heart but each decay resistant length is 100% usable.
2x4 and 2x6 - Available in 8’-20’ Even Lengths
Kiln Dried C and better S4S material is an ideal choice when a beautiful natural appearance is
desired without the expense of clear vertical grain materials.
Handrail - Available in 8’ or 12’
Expertly moulded Kiln Dried 2 x 4 C and Better material designed to act in conjunction with Kiln
Dried Aye and Better balusters. When fully assembled, the handrail is a beautiful complement to
classic New England architecture.
Baluster - Available in 36” or 48”
Unlike commonly found D and Better Green balusters, Kiln Dried Aye and better balusters are
more stable and consistently hold stain or paints better than other lower end alternatives. Aye
and better balusters are also a great solution when the intent is to leave the cedar exposed to
weather to a beautiful silver gray color.
Clear Lattice - Diagonal or Square Pattern
A full 3/4" high quality 1 1/4” privacy panel available in either a
4' x 8' Square or Diagonal pattern. Expertly constructed with a thick high quality S4S Clear Western
Red Cedar lath and discretely fastened with corrosion-resistant construction staples to assure the
user of many years of beauty and durability.
STK Boards - Available in 8’-20’ Even Lengths
Boston Cedar Coastal WRC 8'-20' STK even length boards are straight grained and kiln dried to
an average moisture content of 19%. Unlike Inland WRC boards which are typically from the
US Pacific Northwest, Coastal WRC STK boards are typically longer and do not split as easily.
