Go out and discover the pulsating metropolis that is
“Little Paris”. The best place to get a bird’s-eye view
of the city is from the top of the 91-meter Battle of the
Nations memorial. Then stroll through the elaborately
restored city center, taking a lunch break at “Auerbachs
Keller”, where Goethe’s Faust and Mephisto
came together. For enthusiasts of classic music, we
recommend a performance by the Thomaner Choir at
the Thomas Church, the home of Johann Sebastian
Bach. Alternatively, you might enjoy a concert by the
world-renowned Gewandhaus Orchestra. The whole family
will enjoy a fun and relaxing day out at the Leipzig
Zoo and Belantis Entertainment Park.
