In the event of a tie in the marks of the entrance exam the selection is made on
the basis of marks obtained in Physics in Entrance Exam, failing which marks
obtained in science subjects in qualifying exam (10+2) have been considered.
General waitlist has been generated upto 10, in the event the candidates do not
join the waitlist shall be extended on the basis of the merit list of the entrance
exam.
In case selected candidates do not join (except SC/ST/OBC categories) the
general waitlist will be activated.
The Selection Committee decided that the following will be the dates for joining,
confirmation and activation of wait-listed candidates:
1. Date for commencement of course: 1 ST August 2008
2. Date of joining: 1 ST August 2008
3. Date for sending Offer of Admissions: 23 RD June 2008
4. Date for confirmation of joining the course: 1 ST July, 2008
5. Activation of first and subsequent Wait Lists: 3 rd July, 2008
