The interference suppression function<br />

Suppressing interference between two thrubeam sensors<br />
Interference between thrubeam sensors<br />
can be suppressed with polarisation<br />
filters. A polarisation filter's characteristic<br />
depends on the direction and notch in<br />
which it is set. If the polarisation direction<br />
of the filters attached to the transmitter<br />
and the receiver is the same, the beam<br />
can be received. If the direction of the<br />
filter is changed by 90 degrees, however,<br />
the beam cannot be received. Using this<br />
restriction, interference can be<br />
suppressed with polarisation filters as<br />
