$226.20 ea.
$269.12 ea.
For remote control access or access control with an Adams Rite 8000
Series exit device. A 24 volt motor enclosed in pushbar retracts latch
mechanism of exit device. Motor draws only 300 milliamps while operating
and offers enough torque to overcome most door load situations. The
motor draws current only when actually operating so electrical dogging
can be achieved with no current draw other than that in the unlocking
cycle. Operation is with simple push button, card reader, key pad or other
switch. Switch can be momentary, allowing automatic relocking of device
or “maintained”, to allow electrical dogging.Motor operation has no
effect on mechanical exit function of device Motorized devices can
require 1 to 4 seconds for the complete unlocking cycle. Requires a
minimum of 4 wires available at door for installation. Ideal for electrical
dogging or low frequency access control. Specify by adding “SE”
after exit device model number.
Electric latch retraction
♦ All models fit all Adams Rite Exit Device types
Dummy pushbar with no latch mechanism but has switch
activation, single or dual switch. Most common application
is in conjunction with a maglock where bar is pushed
to turn off magnet and allow exit from building. Dual
switch version allows redundancy where required by code
or the operation of a signal device along with maglock.
Specify door type(Aluminum or Wood) and width when
ordering. Available in all exit device finishes. The 8099 is
also available as a non-operating dummy for doors not
requiring an exit device but where matching trim is
desired. Specify door type, opening width and type of exit
device to be matched.
8066
3083
♦ Models 3083 and 8066 feature an innovative clutch that
protects locked lever against upward or downward pull
♦ All lever models meet ADA guidelines and California Title 19
♦ All models ANSI/BHMA Grade 1
