With roots stretching back to 1954, Scientifi cally Treated Petroleum (STP P ® ) started with one product — and by 1973, 

STP ® products were being marketed in nearly 100 countries worldwide. 

The STP ® name is inextricably linked to all types of auto racing, most notably with Richard Petty of NASCAR fame. Dating back to 

1969, STP ® and ‘powerful, winning performance’ were an appropriate fi t.

STP ® All Season Antifreeze/Coolant is a superior quality ethylene glycol based engine coolant with a low silicate 

corrosion inhibitor package. This product protects coolant system metals, including heat-rejecting aluminum, against pitting caused 

by cavitation and corrosion. It provides exceptional cooling in summer and excellent protection against freezing in the winter. * It 

is recommended for use in older model domestic and foreign cars and light duty trucks and will provide up to 50,000 miles or 2 

years service life when installed as initial fi ll, or after a complete fl ush and cleaning of a cooling system in reasonable condition. It is 

compatible with supplemental coolant additives (SCA) and coolant fi lters and thus can be used in heavy duty diesel coolant systems 

when pre-charged with SCA. 

Coolant concentrate must be diluted with water prior to use. STP ® All Season Antifreeze/Coolant should not be used in 

concentrated form. A 50% dilution is generally recommended for the best balance of protection against freezing, corrosion 

and summer boil-over. For increased freeze protection in extremely cold areas, a 60% volume concentration can be used. 

Concentrations of greater than 70% by volume are not recommended. High quality soft, de-ionized or distilled water should 

always be used to dilute coolant concentrate. For added value and convenience, this product is available in a ready to use format, 

pre-diluted to 50% volume using de-ionized water.

STP ® Global Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant is recommended for use in ALL MAKES AND MODELS of foreign 

and domestic passenger vehicles and light duty trucks. It contains a proprietary formulation of premium corrosion inhibitors that 

provide extended protection against rust, corrosion and pitting caused by cavitation for all coolant system metals. It also provides 

excellent protection against temperature extremes, preventing freeze-up and boil-over when used in accordance with OEM and 

product manufacturer’s guidelines regarding product dilution. This product can be mixed with any color engine coolant. * When

STP ® Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant 

® is a long service life product based on a proprietary organic acid technology 

(OAT). This ethylene glycol based product is free of silicates, phosphates, borates, nitrates, nitrites and amines. It protects 

coolant system metals against rust and corrosion and provides excellent high temperature aluminum protection. It is fully 

compatible with other similarly formulated OAT coolants and is recommended for use in newer model foreign and domestic cars 

and light duty trucks. * When properly diluted and added as an initial fi ll, this coolant provides up to 150,000 miles or 5 years service 

life protection in automotive applications. For best results, STP ® Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant must not be mixed with 

conventional high pH, phosphate, borate or silicate containing coolants. This product has a distinctly orange color to help 

differentiate it from conventional engine coolant, which is typically, but not always, green. While deleterious effects are not expected 

to be signifi cant, the mixing of conventional coolants with STP ® Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant will result in a lower than 

expected lifetime (change-over intervals). 

Coolant concentrate must be diluted with water prior to use. STP ® Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant should not be used in 

concentrated form. A 50% dilution is generally recommended for the best balance of protection against freezing, corrosion and 

summer boil-over. For increased freeze protection in extremely cold areas, a 60% volume concentration can be used. Concentrations

STP ® Heavy Duty Antifreeze/Coolant is a superior fully formulated traditional engine coolant based on a proprietary 

formulation of corrosion inhibitors. The low silicate level of this aluminium compatible product allows it to be used in multi-vehicle 

fl eets including automotive, light duty and heavy duty diesel applications such as on-road truck, off-road and farm applications. It is 

recommended for use where a heavy duty diesel coolant is required. This includes, but is not limited to, Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit 

Diesel, Ford, GM and Volvo Mack. This product is phosphate and amine free and does not require an initial charge of supplemental 

coolant additives (SCA) upon initial fi ll. It is specially formulated to protect heavy duty diesel wet sleeve liners and is compatible with 

coolant fi lters, heavy duty diesel SCAs, hard water and other traditional fully formulated corrosion inhibited engine coolants. STP ® 

Heavy Duty Antifreeze/Coolant provides exceptional summer cooling and excellent protection against freezing in winter while 

protecting all common coolant system metals.

® is a hybrid technology product that does not require an 

initial charge of SCA or coolant extender at initial fi ll. This OEM approved product is specially formulated to protect all coolant system 

metals and provides excellent wet sleeve liner cavitation protection. It is designed for use in light and heavy duty diesel applications 

where an extended service interval is required. It is recommended for use in on-road truck, off-road, farm, marine and stationary 

applications including, but not limited to, Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel/MTU, GM Heavy Truck, Freightliner, PACCAR and 

Volvo Mack. * This aluminum compatible product, when added as an initial fi ll and properly maintained in accordance with engine 

manufacturer’s maintenance recommendation, will provide an in-service life of up to 600,000 miles, 12,000 hours or 6 years, or 

whichever comes fi rst.

STP ® Color Sensor Antifreeze/Coolant is a superior ethylene glycol based conventional, phosphate free, low silicate 

product. It protects coolant system metals — copper, solder, brass, cast iron, steel and aluminium — against pitting caused 

by cavitation and corrosion. It provides exceptional cooling in summer and excellent protection against freezing in winter. It is 

recommended for use in domestic and foreign cars and light duty trucks, where the use of silicate and borate corrosion inhibitors 

are allowed. If unsure, check owner’s manual. This product may not be compatible with long life hybrid and OAT coolants. Do not 

mix with other engine coolants.
