CRITICAL ACCLAIM
“Created in 1975, OSUSP (The Symphonic Orchestra of The University of São Paulo) became,
lately, a revelation of excellence among the Brazilian classical orchestras…it has an intense
routine of rehearsals and produces symphonic music of great precision and technical
quality.”
João Batista Natali (“Folha de São Paulo”- 08/24/2004)
“…the concept of complete cycles of Symphonies united to the refined sound of the orchestra
and to the fresh and vigorous conducting of Moreno…”
João Luís Sampaio (“O Estado de São Paulo”- 08/24/2004)
“... the Symphonic Orchestra of the University of São Paulo showed the expressive and
technical progress reached under the very competent artistic direction of Carlos Moreno.”
