I. ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS 

We recruit and offer scholarships to prospective students who we know can perform at acceptable levels in the 

sport they pursue and excel academically. Athletics at Victory University includes:

II. 

BRIDGE TO COLLEGE HONORS SCHOLARSHIP 

The VU Bridge to College Scholarship is available to qualified high school juniors and seniors 

looking to get a “jump start” on their college education. This scholarship is available for 

students that have been accepted into the Bridge to College program and covers the remaining 

balance of tuition after payment has been applied from the TN Dual Enrollment Grant.

Students that do not qualify for the TN Dual Enrollment grant will be required to provide 

private funding, up $300 for a 3 credit hour course. After this payment has been applied, 

students will be eligible for the scholarship. 

Tennessee Dual Enrollment Grant Program: 

Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation administers the Tennessee Dual Enrollment Grant 

Program. This program provides some additional financial assistance to qualified high school 

students wanting to take college courses before high school graduation. 

To determine if you meet the criteria to receive the TN Dual Enrollment Grant and to complete 

the online application for the consideration, please visit their website at 

www.tn.gov/collegepays. 

All grant applications must be completed by September 15 for fall enrollment, February 1 for 

spring enrollment, and May 1 for summer enrollment. 

Please note that a submitted application for the TN Dual Enrollment Grant does not guarantee 

funding.

III. 

COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP 

Victory University will offer a full tuition scholarship each year to a participating institution graduate. Qualifying 

criteria and a description of the scholarship will be advertised and made available to Participating Institution for 






distribution. Applicants will apply directly to Victory University. Victory University will select the scholarship 

winner and notify the Participating Institution and the student of the award by late May of each year. 

Note: This scholarship is awarded in May of each year. Students may use their scholarship starting as early as the 

Summer term. 

Scholarship Application Checklist 

• Transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher 

• Scholarship application required 

• Must submit essay describing what they will be able to do to change our world because of their degree 

from Victory. 

• Bachelor Degree students from Community College system may use the scholarship for Master’s program. 

• Essay and additional documentation must be received by April 16. 

IV. 

GRADUATION SCHOLARSHIP 

For students transferring to Victory University with an Associate’s Degree from a Regionally Accredited Institution, 

Victory is pleased to scholarship their last semester of classes prior to their graduation from Victory University. 

National Accredited Institutions will be considered on a case by case basis. This is applicable up to 12 credit hours 

prior to graduation with a bachelor’s degree from Victory in either online or campus classes. 

A scholarship application is not required for this graduation gift; however, students must ensure that official 

transcripts received by Victory University reflect completion of an Associate’s Degree. 

USE: 

Scholarship is awarded for the last 12 credits as applied to their undergraduate degree program at VU 

LIMITS: 

1. Scholarship is available T6, 2012, and forward. 

2. Enrollment Advisors can view www.collegesource.org to check the accreditation of school. 

3. It is the student’s responsibility to follow up with their Academic Advisor when they are nearing the 

last 12 credit hours of study (I.e. students should review their degree plan.) 

V. TRAILBLAZERS SCHOLARSHIP 

All first time Victory University students and Victory University graduated dual enrollment students are eligible for 

the Trailblazers Scholarship during their first term enrolled at Victory University. 

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CONDITIONS: 

For first-time Victory Students (freshmen or transfer) or dual enrollment graduates enrolling as 

first-semester college students, the Trailblazers Scholarships is awarded based on the following 

High School or transfer Grade Point Averages: 






• 2.5-2.99 $500.00 awarded for first term 

• 3.0 or higher $750.00 awarded for first term 

Amounts reflected effective 11/26/2012 for T3, 2013 applicants. 

Students can maintain the Trailblazers scholarships amount by maintaining the set GPAs each 

term for a maximum of four consecutive terms. 

Limitations of Trailblazers Scholarship 

All scholarship awards are subject to the following conditions. Your acceptance of a scholarship 

indicates that you have read and understand the following: 

• Scholarship recipients are required to maintain a 2.5 or 3.0 depending on the amount 

originally awarded. 

• The Trailblazers is awarded for four consecutive terms and is not renewable. 

• Maintaining a full-time enrollment (minimum 12 hours per semester/6 hours per 

consecutive terms) in a regular degree program is required. 

• All academic scholarship recipients must maintain the required minimum cumulative 

grade point average. Grades are subject to review on a term-by-term basis. Failure to 

maintain a minimum semester or term grade point average of 2.5 ($500), 3.0 ($750) will 

automatically result in the forfeiture of a scholarship. 

• No other academic scholarship may be used in combination with Trailblazers 

Scholarship. 

• Your award level will not change for the four terms. 

• Any government and outside financial aid that you qualify for will be applied toward 

tuition and fees before the scholarship amount. 

• Scholarship funds can be applied to a student’s Victory University tuition and fees only 

(no books) and may not create a cash balance or refund. 

• The institution reserves the right to review or cancel awards due to changes in financial 

standing, academic or program status. 

• All awards are tentative subject to final verification of academic records and full 

acceptance to Victory University upon starting coursework. 

Students receiving scholarship awards who withdraw from the university must notify the 

Financial Aid office and the Office of Academic Affairs. Withdrawals count as a loss of a 

semester/term of eligibility and may result in the cancellation of the award because the student 

must be enrolled in four consecutive terms.

TRINITY HONORS SCHOLARSHIP 

Do you have honors scholarships available at Victory University 

Yes! Victory University awards twenty incoming honors students each year with a full four year scholarship 

covering tuition and fees, renewable up to four academic years pending good standing in the honors program. The 

scholarships are competitively available to first-time students and transfer students 

Scholarship Application Checklist 

• Minimum 3.5 weighted GPA 

• Minimum 25 ACT or 1150 SAT composite 

• Scholarship Application required 

• Letter of recommendation from teacher, professor, or pastor 

• Impressive student resume 

• 2-3 page double-spaced essay on one of the following topics: What does it mean to be a Christian 

scholar Or What does academic excellence in the liberal arts tradition mean to you 

• Final Interview with University President, Director of the Honors Program and Honors Committee 

*Students who are not selected for the Trinity Scholarship may still qualify for entry into the honors program 

and/or another Victory University scholarship.
