JUNIOR MEN’S TRANS TASMAN
TEST SERIES 2006
Message from Chief Executive
Squash New Zealand
On behalf of Squash New Zealand, I would like to warmly
welcome all teams On behalf of Squash New Zealand I am
pleased to welcome coaches Geoff Davenport and John
Arcidiacono, and the Australian U19 Trans-Tasman test team,
to New Zealand.
It is an important series because it provides international
competition for young players from both countries, and it should
provide an indication of the likely competitiveness of both
teams at the upcoming World Junior Men’s Championships in
Palmerston North.
This year the series is being hosted by the Mana and SquashGym
Palmerston North Clubs. Squash NZ greatly appreciates the
support of these clubs, and special thanks to Steve Baker
(Mana) and Grant Smith (SquashGym) for their efforts.
I would also like to recognise the work of Robbie Wyatt and
Nick Mita, the New Zealand team coaches, for their work in
preparing the New Zealand team.
Good luck to everyone involved and enjoy the squash.
Peter Fergusson
Chief Executive
