The Organising Committee supported by ANDDI-Portugal the Portuguese Sports Association for Persons
with Intellectual Disability and INAS the International Federation for Sports for Para-Athletes with an
Intellectual Disability, have the pleasure to invite you to the “4 th INAS World Half Marathon
Championships” to be held at NAZARÉ – Portugal, next 9 th to 12 th November 2012”.

5. LANGUAGE
English is the official language of INAS event. All material and information will be available in
English. The organisers will provide each team with a volunteer for translation.

7. VENUE
Nazaré – Portugal
Is situated about 100Km of Lisbon, on the district of
Leiria. Is a small municipality with 80.49 km² and
15,060 inhabitants, but very beautiful and typical!
8. AIRLINES AND TRANSPORT
Direct Fly from several world main Airport to the Lisbon (100Km).
The Organising Committee will provide transportation from and to the Lisbon airport, as well as
during the Championship.
9. VISA REQUIREMENT
Visa to come to Portugal might be required for some countries

10. FULL-BOARD
The Organising Committee provides a full board logistic facility, which includes accommodation –
in a comfortable hotel with double and triple rooms in Nazaré – breakfast, lunch and dinner.
11. INSURANCE
The Organising Committee ensures satisfactory arrangements in respect of public liability and
professional indemnity.
Participating member organisations are responsible for their own insurance requirement for travel,
personal accident, liability and medical matters.

14. SPORTS RULES AND REGULATIONS
According the I.A.A.F – International Association of Athletics Federations
15. ELIGIBILITY / ACCREDITATION / MEDICAL PROVISION / DOPING
- Eligibility of athletes: all participants should be registered with INAS and should appear on the
INAS master list until 30 th September.
- Accreditation cards: will be issued to each athlete after she/he personably has proved her/his
eligibility registration card and passport to an INAS officer.
- Medical support: will be available at competition venues and accommodation.
- Doping Control: Doping Control will be ensured by the Portugal Doping Control Unit.
16. PARTICIPANTS
No limit number of participants per country;
For the Team Competition a country has to register a minimum of 3 competitors’ men and/or women.

• 2 nd Entry form (nominative) and Arrival form - before 30 th September 2012

18. ENTRY FEE for the WHOLE PACKAGE
The entry fee is €250 per person including 3 nights full board accommodation, transport, entry to the
competition, social programme and INAS capitation fee (currently €25 per person) for all members of
the delegation (athletes, coaches and staff).
Payment should be made in Euros. You are responsible for paying all bank charges/transfer fees.
The total amount must be paid at the latest by 30 th September 2012 (not reimbursed) and is
essential in order that the entries can be accepted.
Extra costs:
• Extra nights accommodation: €80 per person per night (including evening meal/breakfast)
• Transport from alternative airports: Once that the OC provide transportation from/to the Lisbon
airport, you are responsible for your own transport to Nazaré if you flight to another airport.
Terms:
• Cancellation: No refund of deposit in the event of an athlete/team withdrawing.
• No changes to the team after final entry deadline
