Bob Schmidt, General Manager
Bob initially started working
with Macks’ Lure in 2000. He
brought to us 15 years of
management experience
from the financial services
industry and a business
degree from Washington
State University. He is
married to a fellow New York
native, and has two sons.
Leanna Serles, Office Manager
Leanna has been with Mack’s
Lure for nine years, working
in a variety of capacities.
She previously was an office
manager in the medical field.
Leanna and her husband live
in Leavenworth, WA and have
four grown children.
Dawn Wooten, Distribution Manager
Dawn is the proud daughter
of the Mack’s Lure founder,
Vern McPherson. She began
working for her Dad in 1973
as a stay-at-home mom,
snelling and painting Glo®
Hooks. She and her husband
have been married for 37
years and have two grown
daughters.
Jeannine Church, Shipping Manager
Jeannine became the Mack’s
Lure shipping manager
in 2006. Her shipping
experience was initially
gained from working for a
famous candy manufacturer.
Jeannine and her husband
have lived in the Wenatchee
Valley all of their lives and
have 3 grown children.
Bob Loomis, Sales Manager
Bobby joined the Mack’s
team in 2009. He has 27
years experience in the
fishing industry, starting out
as the original employee at G.
Loomis Rods. He is married
to his high school sweetheart
and has three sons.

Vern McPherson
Mack’s Lure was founded in
1969. In the beginning, Vern,
Edna and their son, Ray, made all
the lures. Vern took these new
lures from store to store giving
business owners opportunity
to add his products. It didn’t
take long before fishermen
recognized the quality of
McPherson’s lure---and that was
just the beginning!
