The Ryan C. Gordon Memorial Kiddush Cup Golf Committee is gearing up for
our 13 th Kiddush Cup, being held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 – and it will
surely be here before we know it!
The Cup is the synagogue’s major fundraiser; since its memorial renaming in
2006, Beth Israel has donated over $55,000 to those charities that 19-year old
Ryan held dear to his heart and to which he donated in the last days of his life.
Due to the generosity of our wonderful sponsors, friends and golfers, funds have
been dispersed to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Ryan Gordon Whale/
Hartford Wolf Pack Scholars Fund, The Ryan Gordon Endowment Fund at
Kingswood/Oxford, and the Yale Cancer Center.
Please take a few moments to review and choose one of the Sponsorship packages
– and/or register to play. Your involvement is essential to the growth and
continuity of the synagogue, as well as to the growth of the funds we can disperse
… funds which will benefit children in need for generations to come.
And, of course, your participation will help to make our tournament the day of
