For over 100 years the <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> Education has been engaged in educating students for careers in<br />

teaching, educational leadership, counseling and psychology.<br />

As you review our materials, you will find that the <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> Education <strong>of</strong>fers certification as well<br />

as non-certification degree options at each <strong>of</strong> our four Alabama campuses. It is our mission to prepare<br />

educators, counselors, administrators and other pr<strong>of</strong>essionals to be life-long innovative learners, who<br />

are informed, reflective decision makers effectively trained to achieve the goals, competencies and skills<br />

identified by the accrediting and pr<strong>of</strong>essional organizations for each program.<br />

<strong>Troy</strong> <strong>University</strong> takes great pride in working to improve teaching and learning, both within the state<br />
