Springfield Station
Springfield Station will be built in an already well
developed section of the greater Springfield area
on the western side of the Centenary Highway
with access from Nev Smith Drive.
The station will be located in a deep cutting so
that the building does not intrude on the suburban
landscape.
The station will be within easy walking distance of
a route 522 bus stop on Woodcrest Way and there
will be a kiss ‘n’ ride drop-off area at the station.

Access into the station will be from Nev Smith Drive via a street level plaza,
designed as an open and inviting civic space.
To reach the platform from the plaza, passengers will use stairs or a lift to a covered
walkway over the rail line.
