A MAN WITH A PASSION
TO SUCCEED & IMPROVE
From the rural area of Mount Frere in the Eastern Cape where he was born and completed
his schooling, Bennet travelled to Thekwini as a wide-eyed teenager to seek his fortune.
After years of “chasing chickens”, cleaning out stables, grooming riding ponies and perfecting
the tricky art of shoeing horses, Bennet Bulana is now the highly respected riding instructor
and stable manager at the Stable Employees Training School at Summerveld near Durban.
Today he is an accomplished horseman, a qualified farrier and holds certificates as an “instructor
of instructors” from the KwaZulu-Natal Training Centre at Pinetown.
