Pefkos
Pefkos (Pefki means Pine Trees) Situated 5km south of Lindos
this was once a small fishing village and the Lindians summer
hideaway. Pefkos has grown into a popular resort over the last 10
years.
Lardos
The idyllic Lardos beach and traditional village of Lardos make it
a perfect holiday retreat. Surrounded by green groves and fields,
Lardos lies 7 km south of Lindos, in the south-eastern side of the
island.
Shopping
The main beach is sandy and sheltered
with a canteen, a couple of tavernas and
water sports. There are several smaller
beaches, coves and rocky inlets along the
coast, some with facilities others natural,
peaceful and uncrowded. Pefkos has a
variety of good restaurants and lively bars
as well as a number of mini supermarkets
and tourist shops. Pefkos, known for its
leisurely pace and tranquillity is an ideal
base in the south.

There is a bakery in Pefkos that remains
open 7 days a week where you can buy
your fresh bread and traditional Greek
cakes.

the main Pefkos road.
Lardos beach is a mixture of sand
and pebbles and has plenty sunbeds,
umbrellas as well as water sports.
When having enough of sun, sand and
sea, discover the real traditional Greek life
in the centre of Lardos square Cool off next
to the pretty Italian Vrissi (fountain) set in
the middle of the square, and chose one
of the old charming cafes, for a refreshing
ice coffee or ouzo or enjoy one of many
traditional Greek style restaurants.
Shops
These include a butchers, mini grocery
stores and bakery and are open 08.30 till
14.00 and 17.00 till 21.00 - closed Sunday.
The larger supermarket used by the locals
is called Flevaris, located on the main road
to Lindos near Vlicha Bay and is open 7
days a week till 10pm.
