NOLAN GARRETT hails from the small town of Shady Dale,<br />

Ga. He is a junior Theatre Performance major. In his freshman<br />

year at <strong>Piedmont</strong>, Nolan was cast in three out of four plays:<br />

You Can’t Take It With You, The Magic Is Me, and As You Like<br />

It. He also ran lighting for the final show, Boys Next Door. This<br />

summer, Nolan helped found the North Georgia Theatre for<br />

Youth and performed in Hansel and Gretel.<br />

Justin Gilleland is third year transfer student from ABAC.<br />

He is a mass communications major and theatre minor from<br />

Fitzgerald, Georgia. While at <strong>Piedmont</strong>, Justin has performed<br />

in Almost, Maine, Asylum, and Messiah on the Fridgidare,<br />

and most recently in The Tempest. He is also a member of<br />

<strong>Piedmont</strong>’s tennis team. After graduation, he hopes to work<br />

in Broadcast Journalism.<br />

Jamie Hazelhurst is a freshman Theatre Performance<br />

major here at <strong>Piedmont</strong>. This is her second production at<br />

<strong>Piedmont</strong> <strong>College</strong> with her first being Mayella Ewell in To<br />

Kill a Mockingbird. She was also a participant in the Georgia<br />

Governor’s Honors <strong>Program</strong> as a Theatre major, and has been<br />

in multiple community and high school shows. In the near<br />

future, Jamie plans to go to school for acting in London and<br />

start a modeling and acting career.<br />

Britt Hensley is a senior theatre education major at<br />

<strong>Piedmont</strong> <strong>College</strong>. During her years at school, Britt has<br />

enjoyed her involvement with shows like Trojan Woman, Sure<br />

Thing, Godspell, The Shadow Box, Steel Magnolias, To Kill a<br />

Mockingbird, and The Elephant Man. She was also a part of<br />

North Georgia Theatre’s inaugural season and hopes to be<br />

involved with future seasons to come.<br />

Alexandra Mahoney is a sophomore at <strong>Piedmont</strong><br />

<strong>College</strong> and very excited to be a part of the Theatre program.<br />

She was recently seen as Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird. She<br />

has been involved in other theatre programs since childhood.<br />

Some of her more recent roles, before <strong>Piedmont</strong>, include<br />

Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Elizabeth in Frankenstein.<br />

Chelsey McCleskey is a freshman musical theatre major<br />

at <strong>Piedmont</strong> <strong>College</strong> who lives for the stage. Previous theatre<br />

credits include Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie,<br />

Babette in Beauty and the Beast, Lizzie Curry in 110 in the<br />

Shade, Ariel Moore in Footloose, and more.<br />

Matt McClure is a sophomore theatre major from<br />

Kennesaw, Georgia. He most recently appeared in North<br />

Georgia Theatre’s Arsenic and Old Lace and <strong>Piedmont</strong>’s<br />

South Pacific. Matt is excited to continue his second year at<br />

<strong>Piedmont</strong> and further his acting experience. In the future, he<br />

hopes to travel and perform in a variety of plays and venue.<br />

Jacob McKee is a freshman theatre performance major at<br />

<strong>Piedmont</strong> <strong>College</strong>. He is from McDonough, Georgia, where<br />

he graduated from Henry County High School. Before starting<br />

his tenure at <strong>Piedmont</strong>, some of his favorite roles included<br />

Tobias in Sweeney Todd, Carmen Ghia in The Producers,<br />

Touchstone in As You Like It, and Friar Lawrence in Romeo<br />

and Juliet<br />

Laura Merritt is a freshman Musical Theatre major at<br />

<strong>Piedmont</strong> <strong>College</strong>. She graduated from Flowery Branch High<br />

School where she has been cast as roles in plays like Anything<br />

Goes, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and<br />

Grease. She plans to pursue theatre performance and/or<br />

directing as a career.<br />

Tamara Rainwater is a sophomore Theatre Education<br />

major from Lawrenceville, Ga. During her first year at piedmont<br />

She appeared in The Elephant Man, Aesop’s Fables, The<br />

Tempest and most recently in Little Red Riding Hood and The<br />

Three Little Pigs. Tamara has been a dancer since she was<br />

three years old and she co-choreographed The Tempest and<br />

the student capstone production of Station to Station. After<br />

college, Tamara plans to open her own theatre and dance<br />

studio.<br />

Melissa Rice was born in Bozeman, Montana, but grew<br />

up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. She is a Sophomore theatre<br />

education major, photography minor. Melissa made her<br />

college debut at <strong>Piedmont</strong> as Shelby in Steel Magnolias. She<br />

was Miranda in Shakespeare’s The Tempest and designed<br />

costumes for To Kill a Mockingbird.<br />

Kallie Robinson is a freshman Theatre Education major<br />

at <strong>Piedmont</strong> <strong>College</strong>. She spent her high school years in<br />

Grayson, but now calls Lawrenceville, Georgia home. She<br />

spends most of her time behind the scenes as a technician,<br />

but has been known to wander onto the stage for plays such<br />

as Almost Maine, Treasure Island, and Scapin. Kallie has big<br />

plans for her future, including teaching theatre in high school<br />

and eventually acquiring her doctorate to teach at the college<br />

level. Until then she hopes to soak up as much experiance as<br />

possible, never forgetting where her roots are and who she<br />

loves all along the way.
