Inspiring art work and innovative product design are a great combination. Gloryfy therefore turned to the
design world once again and two specialists in their field had been selected! Illustration and fashion design
coupled with “unbreakability” merge to create the limited edition gloryfy “Art of glory” collection!

One day could bring design and illustration jobs, silkscreening art poster or drawing for a highclass
exhibition. Every day, a new challenge. Everything centers on friendship, waves, moments - and the
illustrations that define them.“
Hero: Chrigel, was ist die Faszination Berg für
dich?
Chrigel: Da ich in den Bergen aufgewachsen bin, ist
es für mich ganz natürlich, mich dort zu bewegen. Zu
Fuß hinauf, per Gleitschirm herunter ... und das alles
ohne irgendwelche technischen Hilfsmittel! Nur ich
und die Schönheit der Natur!
Hero: Du gehst ja beim Red Bull X-Alps 2011 als
Favorit an den Start, mit Advance hast du einen
Top-Schirm, mit Lowa Top-Schuhe und auch wir
von gloryfy werden dir gutes Brillenmaterial geben
- trotzdem, wo siehst du die große Herausforderung
für eine erfolgreiche Titelverteidigung?
Chrigel: Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich letztes Mal
unbeschwerter ins Rennen ging. Heuer stehe ich als
Titelverteidiger unter einem großen Druck! Trotzdem
hab ich mir neue Ziele gesetzt. Es sind zwar dieses
Mal keine direkten Leistungsziele, aber ich freu mich
einfach wieder auf das Abenteuer in der Natur und
darauf dieses mit meinem Team zu bewältigen!
Hero: Chrigel, what is your fascination with
mountains?
Chrigel: As I grew up in the mountains, it feels completely
natural for me to be in these surroundings.
Hiking up, paragliding down ... and all this without
any kind of technical assistance! Just me and the
beauty of nature!
Hero: At the Red Bull X-Alps 2011, you will start as
favourite. Advance are going to provide you with a
top-quality paraglider, Lowa are going to provide
you with the best footwear and we at gloryfy are also
going to supply you with great eyewear - despite all of
this, what do you see as the major challenge when it
comes to successfully defending your title?
Chrigel: I honestly have to say that last time I began
the race without a care in the world. This year, as the
defending champion, I am under a lot of pressure!
Nevertheless, I have set myself new goals, although
this time they are not direct performance targets, but
I am simply looking forward to tackling the outdoor
adventure once again and to working with my team
to overcome this challenge!
