• The <strong>Digicel</strong> <strong>Popular</strong> <strong>Saying</strong> <strong>Text</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Win</strong> <strong>Promotion</strong> gives all <strong>Digicel</strong> cus<strong>to</strong>mers a<br />
chance <strong>to</strong> win great prizes by completing a popular saying from a list of<br />
multiple choice answers.<br />
2. Who is eligible <strong>to</strong> enter this promotion<br />
• All <strong>Digicel</strong> cus<strong>to</strong>mers, including postpaid, prepaid, dual and hybrid cus<strong>to</strong>mers<br />
are qualified <strong>to</strong> participate in the promotion.<br />
3. How do I enter the promotion<br />
• You may enter by texting the word PLAY <strong>to</strong> 4442480.<br />
• Upon texting the word PLAY you will receive a text message with a saying <strong>to</strong><br />
complete by selecting the correct answer from a list of multiple choice<br />
answers. (For example, Bring home the ------ (A) cheese, (B) chicken, (C)<br />
bacon.)<br />
• You are then required <strong>to</strong> respond with the letter representing the correct<br />
answer. In the example above the correct answer is C. Therefore, you should<br />
write “C” in the text message.<br />
• If you answer correctly, you will continue <strong>to</strong> receive a series of words until all<br />
the sayings have been completed correctly.<br />
• Each correct answer is an entry in<strong>to</strong> the draw.<br />
4. How do I know if my answer is correct<br />
• If the answer sent in is correct you will receive one of the messages below<br />
with the next group of letters <strong>to</strong> unscramble.<br />
1. “You are correct! …”<br />
2. “Right answer, keep playing! ...”<br />
3. “That’s correct! ...”<br />
4. “You’re doing well! ...”
5. WOW you’re doing great! …”<br />
6. You’re correct, keep playing! Now unscramble …”<br />
• Messages will continue until you have responded with the correct answers <strong>to</strong><br />
all ten (10) words.<br />
5. What message do I receive if the answer is incorrect<br />
• If the answer sent in is incorrect, you will receive the following text message:<br />
“Sorry, that answer is incorrect, try again.”<br />
• If you answer incorrectly, you can choose <strong>to</strong> retry the last saying received until<br />
you answer the question correctly and continue the game. (For example, if a<br />
cus<strong>to</strong>mer answers A in the example quoted in question 3 above, he should<br />
reattempt the correct answer <strong>to</strong> same phrase.)<br />
6. How do I know that I have answered all ten (10) phrases correctly<br />
• Once you have correctly unscrambled all ten (10) phrases the following text<br />
message will be sent <strong>to</strong> your phone:<br />
“Congrats, you have successfully completed the<br />
<strong>Digicel</strong> <strong>Popular</strong> <strong>Saying</strong>s Game. Remember the more<br />
you play the more chances you have <strong>to</strong> win.”<br />
7. Do I get one entry for each correct answer<br />
• Yes. You will receive one entry for each correct answer that is sent. As such,<br />
you are not required <strong>to</strong> complete the game in order <strong>to</strong> gain an entry in the<br />
competition.<br />
Note: You will also receive one entry when you send the word PLAY <strong>to</strong> start<br />
the game.<br />
8. Is there a cut off time for entries <strong>to</strong> be received<br />
• Yes. All entries must be received by 11:59:59pm on Sunday November 29,<br />

9. What is the cost <strong>to</strong> enter<br />
• Each text message sent <strong>to</strong> 4442480 costs $20 per 160 characters.<br />
Note: This includes the initial text “PLAY” <strong>to</strong> enter the competition.<br />
10. What if the text message is more than 160 characters<br />
• You will be charged $20 for every 160 characters.<br />
11. What will I have a chance <strong>to</strong> win<br />
• One cus<strong>to</strong>mer who enters the competition has a chance <strong>to</strong> win a prize<br />
package.<br />

12. What is the promotional period<br />

13. When will the winner be selected<br />
• The winner will be selected on Monday, November 30, 2009.<br />
14. How often am I allowed <strong>to</strong> enter<br />
• You are allowed <strong>to</strong> enter as often as you wish.<br />

15. How will the winner be selected<br />
• One winner will be randomly selected from the pool of correct entries.<br />
16. How many winners will be selected<br />
• One (1) winner will be selected on Monday November 30, 2009 at the end of<br />
the promotion.<br />
17. How will I know if I have won<br />
• If your entry was selected you will be contacted via a phone call by a<br />
representative from <strong>Digicel</strong>.<br />
18. What if I was called, but I missed the call<br />
• In order <strong>to</strong> win the prize you are required speak with the <strong>Digicel</strong><br />
representative.<br />
• If the call is unanswered then the attempt has failed. A failed attempt includes<br />
calls that are unanswered, calls that go <strong>to</strong> the voicemail or if the phone is<br />
turned off.<br />
• Five (5) attempts, within an hour, will be made <strong>to</strong> contact each cus<strong>to</strong>mer that<br />
is chosen.<br />
• If all five (5) attempts fail, then another potential winner is selected.<br />
19. If I was contacted and won where do I collect the prize<br />
• You will be required <strong>to</strong> collect your prize at the <strong>Digicel</strong> office located in<br />

• You are required <strong>to</strong> take with you the following items<br />

TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE ‘DIGICEL POPULAR SAYING’ TEXT TO WIN<br />
COMPETITION<br />
1. The ‘DIGICEL POPULAR SAYING TEXT TO WIN COMPETITION’ (“the Competition”) is<br />
available <strong>to</strong> all <strong>Digicel</strong> cus<strong>to</strong>mers (“the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer”)<br />
2. The Competition will run for approximately four (4) weeks starting from, Wednesday<br />
Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 28, 2009 <strong>to</strong> 11:59 pm on Sunday 29 November, 2009 (“the Competition<br />
Period”).<br />
3. The Competition is authorised by Order under the Betting, Gaming & Lotteries Act.<br />
4. To enter the Competition the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer must text “PLAY” <strong>to</strong> 444-2480, the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer<br />
will then get a message stating “Welcome <strong>to</strong> <strong>Digicel</strong> <strong>Popular</strong> <strong>Saying</strong> Game. Complete<br />
the saying for a chance <strong>to</strong> win …” (e.g. Bring home the --- A)cheese B)chicken<br />
C)bacon)<br />
5. The Cus<strong>to</strong>mer is then required <strong>to</strong> reply with the correct letter associated with<br />
completing the popular saying. For this example the cus<strong>to</strong>mer should text “C” for<br />
bacon.<br />
6. If the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer gets the right answer they continue <strong>to</strong> play. The cus<strong>to</strong>mer will get a<br />
response including the next popular saying <strong>to</strong> complete. This will continue until the<br />
Cus<strong>to</strong>mer gets one answer wrong or until the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer has correctly responded <strong>to</strong> all<br />
ten (10) popular sayings.<br />
7. If the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer answers incorrectly, he can choose <strong>to</strong> retry the last popular saying<br />
received until he answers the question correctly and continues the game.<br />
8. If the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer has correctly responded <strong>to</strong> all ten (10) popular sayings, he completes<br />
the game and will receive a message stating “Congrats, you have successfully<br />
completed the <strong>Digicel</strong> <strong>Popular</strong> <strong>Saying</strong> Game. Remember the more you play the more<br />
chances you have <strong>to</strong> win.”<br />
9. The Cus<strong>to</strong>mer can play the game as many times as they wish.<br />
10. Where a Cus<strong>to</strong>mer has already begun the game and continues <strong>to</strong> play at another time,<br />
for example on another day during the Competition Period, the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer will<br />
continue playing ten (10) popular sayings in each game cycle. <strong>Digicel</strong> may change the<br />
ten (10) popular sayings during the Competition Period as they see fit.<br />
11. <strong>Text</strong> <strong>to</strong> “PLAY” and each text sending a correct answer will be one entry in<strong>to</strong> the draw<br />
<strong>to</strong> win the prize. Therefore if a Cus<strong>to</strong>mer completes the game and sends in ten (10)<br />
correct answers they will get ten (10) entries in<strong>to</strong> the draw and one (1) additional<br />
entry for texting “PLAY”. An incorrect answer does not give the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer an entry in<strong>to</strong><br />
the draw.<br />
12. Each text will cost $20 each and each text is regarded as an entry.<br />
13. <strong>Text</strong> messages are limited <strong>to</strong> 160 characters. If the text message exceeds 160<br />
characters the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer will be charged for an additional text message. Each<br />
additional text message will cost $20.<br />
14. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm on November 29, 2009 <strong>to</strong> be eligible for the<br />
draw on November 30, 2009.<br />
15. After the Competition Period, a winner will be selected at random from all the correct<br />
responses on November 30, 2009.<br />

16. <strong>Digicel</strong> may, at its sole discretion, have ‘Double Entry Day’ offers whereby <strong>Digicel</strong> will<br />
match every correct entry with another entry on the Cus<strong>to</strong>mer’s behalf; therefore the<br />
Cus<strong>to</strong>mer will have more chances <strong>to</strong> win. The Cus<strong>to</strong>mer will be notified by messages<br />
<strong>to</strong> their phone or by notice on <strong>Digicel</strong>’s website if <strong>Digicel</strong> is participating in ‘Double<br />
Entry Day’ during the Competition Period. The Betting Gaming and Lotteries<br />
Commission (BGLC) will be notified prior <strong>to</strong> the running of this ‘Double Entry Day’.<br />
17. The Cus<strong>to</strong>mer enters the Competition <strong>to</strong> win a Prize Package which includes:<br />
a. 1 Nokia 5530 XpressMusic smartphone, and<br />
b. US $500 Cash prize<br />
18. There will be one (1) winner of the draw for the Competition who will get the Prize<br />
Package<br />
19. <strong>Digicel</strong> will contact the winner by telephone on the day the winner is selected.<br />
20. A maximum of five (5) calls will be made <strong>to</strong> the selected winner within a period of an<br />
hour. If no response is received during that hour, another winner will be selected until<br />
a winner has been contacted.<br />
21. The <strong>Win</strong>ner will have thirty (30) days within which <strong>to</strong> collect their prizes.<br />
22. Prizes are <strong>to</strong> be collected from <strong>Digicel</strong>, RKA Building, 10-16 Grenada Way, Kings<strong>to</strong>n 5.<br />
23. <strong>Win</strong>ners must bring valid pho<strong>to</strong>graphic identification and the phone and sim card<br />
with which they entered the Competition in order <strong>to</strong> redeem the Prize Package.<br />
24. Minors are eligible for this Competition but must be accompanied by a parent or<br />
guardian when coming <strong>to</strong> redeem their prize.<br />
25. <strong>Digicel</strong> employees, dealer principals or employees of any of our affiliated companies,<br />
advertising, Competition and public relations agencies, dealers, distribu<strong>to</strong>rs, or anyone<br />
else connected with this Competition and their immediate family members and<br />
household members are not eligible for entry. For these purposes immediate family<br />
members are spouses, parents, siblings and children.<br />
26. <strong>Win</strong>ners will be required <strong>to</strong> participate in any planned publicity in connection with this<br />
competition. By entering the Competition, the prize winner consents <strong>to</strong> the use of his<br />
name, likeness, image, pho<strong>to</strong>graph for any and all programming and/or publicity or<br />
advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by us or<br />
our agencies, without further compensation, throughout the entire world in<br />
perpetuity. If a winner refuses <strong>to</strong> do so, they forfeit their right <strong>to</strong> claim the prize.<br />
27. <strong>Digicel</strong>, with consultation and prior approval from the BGLC, reserves the right <strong>to</strong> at<br />
any time vary the terms of the Competition, <strong>to</strong> amend its Terms and Conditions, or <strong>to</strong><br />
withdraw the Competition. In any of these events notice will be given via media<br />
advertisements or messages <strong>to</strong> subscribers and will be effective immediately or as of<br />
the date referred <strong>to</strong> in such notifications.<br />
28. <strong>Digicel</strong>, with consultation and prior approval from the BGLC, reserves the right <strong>to</strong><br />
terminate, cancel, suspend and/or modify the Competition if any fraud, virus or other<br />
technical problem corrupts the administration, security, safety or proper play of the<br />
Competition. In such event, <strong>Digicel</strong> hereby specifically reserve the right (but not the<br />
obligation) <strong>to</strong> award some other prize hereunder (as determined by <strong>Digicel</strong>, with<br />
consultation and prior approval from the BGLC) by means of a random drawing from<br />
among the eligible entries received up until the time of the impairment.<br />
