Approval of Provider Credentialing & Recredentialing
Committee (PRCC) recommendations.

Alliance Staff will continue to work on finding new
dates for future Board of Governors meetings.
4. CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER’S REPORT
Ingrid I. Lamirault highlighted and reported on sections of
Lamirault the written CEO report, the Low-Income Health
Program, the SPD Expansion into Managed Care and
the Alliance’s Healthy Family line of business.
The Alliance is working with the Alameda County
Health Care Services Agency to respond to the
State’s Low-Income Health Program (LIHP).
Although the initial medical services for this program
will be provided by a closed network of providers we
are currently planning for an open provider network.
All parties involved in the planning agree that it is in
everyone’s best interest to have a clinically
integrated public-private network with adequate
coverage.
The Medicaid 1115 Waiver includes mandatory
managed care enrollment of most Medi-Cal
beneficiaries who are Senior and Persons with
Disabilities (SPD). There will be new requirements
mandated to ensure care coordination and consumer
protections. This may result in the Board approving
resolutions that deal with policy changes.
• The Alliance has received the 2011 Health
Families amendment. The amendment
includes several new requirements for the
Alliance, including:
• The Alliance will have to cover CCS services if
the county cannot for budget reasons.
