14 Endowment & Financials Rashi’s Board of Trustees created a general endowment fund in 2007 to support the long-term viability of the school. These funds are pooled into the Jewish Community Endowment Pool, LLP and managed by CareGroup/Combined Jewish Philanthropies Board of Managers chaired by Daniel Jick. Once the principal has reached a level that will generate sufficient interest income, on an annual basis, the Rashi Board of Trustees will determine the percent of interest income to liquidate, as well as allocation of these available funds. In addition to the general endowment, Rashi also benefits from the following restricted endowed funds: Harold H.
