Please Note:
- The non-refundable application fee is valid only for the academic year for which the
student has applied, regardless of whether we are able to offer placement.
- You are welcome to submit an application anytime during the year; we do not have
an application deadline. The desired academic year must be specific at the time of
application.
- Application dates - which are used to manage our waiting lists and fill spaces once an
applicant has been accepted - are assigned upon receipt of both the completed
application form and the application fee.
- At waitlisted levels, the application date only becomes effective after applicants have
been formally accepted.
- The admission review process to determine acceptance starts only upon receipt of all
supporting materials.
Waitlisted students, please note: Acceptance for one school year is not
automatic acceptance for subsequent school years.
- All supporting documents required to evaluate an application (as noted above) must
be submitted by the deadline given by our admissions staff, usually no less than one
month. Applications that remain incomplete after this deadline will be deactivated.
should an application be deactivated and a family request to reactivate the
application, the application will receive a new application date that reflects the date of
the reactivation request. Reactivation request are honored only for the academic year
for which the application was originally filed.
Pre-Entry testing policies:
Concordia automatically requires pre-entry testing for any student who:
1. Is transferring from a school where a US curriculum is not taught.
2. Is from a family in which languages other than English are spoken.
3. Is transferring from a school where English is NOT the medium of instruction.
4. Has previous school records or reports, which indicate an area of academic concern.

5. Has been recommended to do so by the Admissions Committee.
Testing for elementary students includes both a math and English language assessment. In
grades 6-12 all new students we will use the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) which
includes a math, language arts, and writing sample. In addition, students whose native
language is not English will also take a language assessment. Testing students is used to
determine student placement and if any additional services are required. It is the goal of
Concordia entrance exams to determine the match between a particular student's needs and
potential and Concordia’s resources and capabilities. The cost of testing is included in the
application fee.
