Elizabeth Ellis, Membership and Outreach Specialist, Girl Scouts of MN and WI Lakes and Pines<br />

Elizabeth Ellis currently serves at Membership and Outreach Specialist <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> Girl Scouts of <strong>Minnesota</strong> and<br />

Wisconsin Lakes and Pines, providing volunteer management and community partnership development in<br />

Wisconsin Counties surrounding <strong>the</strong> Sou<strong>the</strong>rn shores of Lake Superior. Elizabeths <strong>for</strong>mal education includes a<br />

self designed B.A. in Non-profit <strong>Administration</strong> and Resource Development and Mini MBA in Nonprofit<br />

Organization from St. Thomas University. She has worked <strong>for</strong> more than 15 years in community partnership<br />

development, volunteer program design and management in both <strong>the</strong> local and national non-profit sectors<br />

including <strong>the</strong> <strong>Minnesota</strong> Department of Corrections, Girls Scouts of Greater Minneapolis, Face to Face Health<br />

and Counseling Services and <strong>the</strong> YWCA of St. Paul. Elizabeth is <strong>the</strong> proud recipient of <strong>the</strong> 2008 Mary Wiser<br />

Award <strong>for</strong> Excellence in <strong>Volunteer</strong> <strong>Administration</strong>.<br />

Leslie Perrett, Coordinator of <strong>Volunteer</strong> Services, Lu<strong>the</strong>ran Social Services Duluth<br />

Leslie currently coordinates volunteer services <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> LSS programs serving <strong>the</strong> greater Duluth area. Her<br />

work experience includes coordinating training <strong>for</strong> licensed child care providers through St, Louis County<br />

Arrowhead Child Care and Referral serving <strong>the</strong> seven Arrowhead counties with AmeriCorps ACT Action <strong>for</strong><br />

Children Today and Director of Youth and Education at Glen Avon Presbyterian, Leslie coordinated volunteers<br />

<strong>for</strong> many community and school based programs, provided training, and facilitated groups including <strong>Volunteer</strong><br />

Parental Involvement Coordinator at Cobb and Homecroft Elementary and Woodland Middle School. She has<br />

a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management and Communication from Concordia University<br />

Sarah Butler, Coordinator, True North <strong>Volunteer</strong> Center<br />

Sarah currently coordinates <strong>the</strong> volunteer center in Duluth, which is apart of <strong>the</strong> Hands On Network. She<br />

began her career in volunteer management as an AmeriCorps VISTA member at <strong>the</strong> Park Avenue Foundation<br />

in South Minneapolis. She gained experience at <strong>the</strong> Arthritis Foundation North Central Chapter in St. Paul.<br />

She completed her Mini-MBA in <strong>Volunteer</strong> Management from <strong>the</strong> University of St. Thomas, and received her<br />

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Bemidji State University.<br />

Fargo/Moorhead<br />

Deb Kluck, <strong>Volunteer</strong> Services Manager, Hospice of <strong>the</strong> Red River Valley<br />

Deb currently manages <strong>the</strong> volunteer program with Hospice of <strong>the</strong> Red River Valley (HRRV). The office is<br />

headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota<br />

with regional offices located in Detroit<br />

Lakes, <strong>Minnesota</strong>, and Grand Forks,<br />

Mayville, Valley City, Lisbon in North<br />

Dakota. Deb has worked in volunteer<br />

leadership roles since 1980. She has a<br />

BS from North Dakota State University. In<br />

1996, Deb was named YWCA Woman of<br />

<strong>the</strong> Year in <strong>the</strong> Professional category and<br />

has reached <strong>the</strong> Able and Certified<br />

Toastmaster levels in Toastmasters<br />

International. In 2004, she was named<br />

<strong>the</strong> Director of <strong>Volunteer</strong> Services from<br />

<strong>the</strong> local Fargo-Moorhead DOVS<br />

Central <strong>Minnesota</strong> <strong>Trainers</strong><br />

organization.
