The Kaba <strong>MS</strong> <strong>Series</strong> <strong>Mortice</strong> <strong>Lock</strong>s and latches have been<br />
designed, engineered and built to perform on many varied<br />
building projects, security and life safety should never be<br />
compromised, Kaba <strong>Mortice</strong> <strong>Lock</strong>s provide the ideal answer<br />
for every application including commercial high usage doors<br />
such as education facilities, hospitals, military installations,<br />
corrective service facilities, hotels, clubs, office buildings<br />
and residential applications.<br />
The <strong>MS</strong>2 <strong>Mortice</strong> <strong>Lock</strong> is a heavy duty, stainless steel, fire<br />
rated product.<br />

Features<br />
• Heavy duty construction with Stainless Steel case, face<br />
plate, strike and latchbolt<br />
• Full range of functions including privacy, passage, vestibule,<br />
escape, anti-lockout etc... are available from the one primary<br />
lock body<br />
• Deadlatching and kick-off is standard on all functions<br />
• All functions are field changeable/reversible -(except <strong>MS</strong>67<br />
function)<br />
• Supplied complete with all fixings and suitable for door<br />
thickness 32mm to 50mm<br />
• Fabricator kit available to suit aluminium doors<br />
• “Universal” strike plate as standard with extended strikes<br />
also available<br />
• 60mm backset standard<br />
• Accepts standard Australian oval cylinders<br />
• Can be supplied with high security Kaba Master Keying<br />
systems such as Kaba experT or pExtra<br />
• Rebate kit also available to suit standard 13mm<br />
• This product exceeds Australian <strong>Lock</strong> Standards for strength<br />
and durability<br />
• Fire rated as per Australian Standard AS1905 Part 1 - 1997,<br />
Fire Resistant Doorsets - 4 hours<br />
• Compatible with most electric strikes<br />
• Standard door mortice of 120mm x 87mm x 20mm as for<br />
other Australian mortice locks<br />
• Accepts tie bolt rose furniture 38-41mm fixing centres<br />
• Accepts 7.6mm or 8mm furniture spindle<br />
