Antenna Types Special Applications Special Antennas Special antennas can be designed to meet customer’s specific requirements. Our engineering team will work closely with the customer’s technical team throughout the design process to meet their brief and to provide the optimum solution. Antennas with several harmonically related elements can be mounted in a single structure. For certain applications it is important to have close proximity, with high isolation between radiation elements. Slotted circular waveguide antennas producing horizontally polarised omni-directional patterns can be developed up to 25GHz. Structures Assemblies of omni-directional antennas offer either polarisation diversity (vertical or horizontal) in one frequency band, or extend the bandwidth of an antenna system with different frequency coverage for each antenna. In each case the presence of adjacent antennas has been taken into account in the individual antenna design. For example, low noise amplifiers through to diplexed LNA/MPA filter combinations, which are used for remote satellite antennas to preserve EIRP and G/T. Active antennas for satellite applications, either for the reception of GPS signals or Rx/Tx modules, allow high bandwidth communications with a remote antenna.
