Practical approach of
Neuropathic pain,
Discogenic pain
Medical imaging
Neurobiology, special treatments and
value of different imaging techniques
Maximum 150 participants
Group B
Hands-on cadaver workshop
Participants work with the instructors on
the correct application of interventional pain
management techniques. They also have
the opportunity to study the neuroanatomy
on anatomical preparations.
To allow participants to practice
the techniques the number of
participants is limited.
Maximum 50 participants
This is a joint organization of the departments of anesthesiology and pain
management of the Maastricht University Medical Centre, Maastricht, The
Netherlands and Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg, Genk, Belgium.
This meeting is organized in collaboration with the department of Anatomy
and Embryology of the Maastricht University, under the auspices of
WIP, NVA, Pain Section and VAVP
