Sub:- Payment of Examination Fees for M.L.I.Sc Examination
JUNE- 2012
The M.L.I.Sc students who are enrolled during 2011-12, and for
repeaters of 2010-11 in KSOU are hereby informed to pay the fee for the
Examination of June-2012.
The M.L.I.Sc Examination for the students of Karnataka State Open
University will commence in the Second week of June-2012. Examination
will be conducted at the following Places:
1. MYSORE 2. BANGALURU 3. DHARWAD 4. MANGALORE
The detailed Time-Table of M.L.I.Sc Examination is also notified. The
Examination should be written either in Kannada or English.
The last dates for payment of Examination Fee and for submission of
Examination Applications to the University by the student without penalty
and with fine are as follows:
(a) Without Penal fee : 08.05.2012
(b) With Penal fee of Rs. 200/- : 24.05.2012
Students shall pay the following Fees:

NOTE:-
1. Location of examination centre may be changed by KSOU if the total
strength of students writing the examination is below 50 or if the
proper infrastructure is absent. In such cases, candidates will be
registered at a nearest centre to the one chosen by the student.
2. The Examination Fee once paid shall not be refunded.
3. The student should pay the Examination Fee at any branch of State
Bank of Mysore/State Bank of India through KSOU, Challan. Student
Roll Number and Name of the Examination Centre should be
mentioned at the top end of the Application. Filled in Examination
application along with fee paid challan should be send to the
Registrar(Evaluation), Karnataka State Open University,
Manasagangothri, Mysore-570 006, with in the stipulated dates.

4. Application received after the last date ie: 24.05.2012 and incomplete
applications will be rejected without any correspondence. Admission
Tickets will not be sent to the candidates by post. It should be
collected by the candidates in person from the respective Examination
Centre two days prior to the commencement of Examination by
producing the Identification Card for verification. The Identification
Card shall also be produced in the Examination hall on demand.
5. Candidates shall reappear for the Examination at the Centre where
he/she had appeared earlier. Change of Centers will not be allowed
under any circumstance. However, under special circumstances,
permission will be granted to seek change of center through a separate
application and payment of Rs.1000/- This should be submitted on or
before 24.05.2012.
6. Students should not forget to enter the Roll Number on the top portion
of the Examination Application form and on the backside of Challan.
7. Mere payment of Examination Fee and submission of the Examination
Application does not entitle the student to take the Examination if
he/she is not eligible to take the Examination as per rules/ regulation
governing the eligibility to take Examination or if his / her Admission is
not approved by the University.
8. Students belonging to SC/ST and other reserved categories are also
required to pay the Examination Fees in full as mentioned above.
9. Students should appear for all the papers prescribed for M.L.I.Sc at the
time of First appearance.
10. STUDENTS ARE PROHIBITED TO BRING MOBILE PHONES TO THE
EXAMINATION HALL. IF CANDIDATES ARE FOUND WITH MOBILE
PHONES THEY WILL BE SEIZED AND A CASE OF MALPRACTICE WILL
BE BOOKED.
Student are required to send the filled in application to the
Registrar(Evaluation), Karnataka State Open University,
Manasagangothri, Mysore-570 006, along with the Challan.

1. Candidates are informed to follow the instructions printed on the
Answer Book and Admission Ticket.
2. The date, time and place of the Viva- Voce and Practical Examination
(if any)will be intimated later through the Examination Centres.
3. Candidates are informed to receive the Admission Ticket in person
two days before the commencement of Examination at the respective
Examination Centres on the production of the Identification Card.
4. Candidates are informed to bring the Admission Ticket and the
Identification Card every day and shall produce the same to the
Room Superintendent on demand at the Examination Hall.

NOTIFICATION
Sub:- B.L.I.Sc Examination June- 2012
The B.L.I.Sc Examination for the students who are enrolled during
2011-12 and for repeaters 2010-11 in Karnataka State Open University is
scheduled to be held from Second week of June-2012.
The Examination will be conducted at the following centres, the venue
and the Time-Table details are enclosed.
01. MYSORE 02. BANGALORE 03. DHARWAD 04. MANGALORE
Following are the last dates for the payment of Examination Fee and for
submission of Examination Applications to the University.
(a) Without Penal fee : 08.05.2012
(b) With Penal fee of Rs. 200/- : 24.05.2012
The students shall pay the Examination Fee Through the State Bank
of Mysore/State Bank of India Challan Mentioning Roll Number and Name
of the Examination Centre on the top of the Application and submit the
Examination application to the Registrar(Evaluation) Karnataka State Open
University, Manasagangotri, Mysore-570006 along with the attested Photo
copies of the Marks Cards of the earlier attempts if any.

01. The candidates whose admission is not approved, are not eligible to
pay the Examination fee and submit the Examination Application.
Mere payment of Examination fee and submission of application for
the Examination does not entitle the student to take the Examination
if the candidate is not eligible to take the Examination as per
Rules/Regulations of the University governing the Course. Please log
on to www.ksoumysore.edu.in for time table and venue of examination.
Do not depend on post only.
02. The Practical Examination shall be conducted after the theory
Examination. The dates of the Practical Examination shall be notified
by the Chairman of the Department of BLISc after Theory
Examination.
03. The attendance at the Contact Programme for B.L.I.Sc student is
compulsory. Those who do not attend the Contact Programme for the
academic year 2010-2011 are not eligible to take the Examination of
June 2012 if candidates take up Examination by violating the
University Rules, their results will be withheld. Candidates who do
not attend the Contact Programme are not eligible to remit the
Examination Fee.

04. Candidates shall reappear for the Examination at the Centre where
he/she had appeared earlier. Change of Centers will not be allowed
under any circumstance. However, under special circumstances,
permission will be granted to seek change of centres through a
separate application and payment of Rs.1000/- This should be
submitted on or before 24.05.2012
05. The Examination Fee once paid shall not be refunded nor it shall be
adjusted for any future Examination.
06. No request for the postponement of Examination shall be entertained.
07. Admission Ticket will not be sent to the students by post. It shall be
collected by the student in person from the respective Examination
Centres two days prior to the commencement of Examination by
producing the Identification Card for Verification.
08. Candidates shall bring their Admission Tickets and Identification
Cards to the Examination Hall.
09. Students belonging to SC/ST and other reserved categories are also
required to pay the Examination Fee in full as mentioned above.
10. Students who wish to answer the questions in Kannada shall indicate
the same in the Examination Application.
11. Students are requested to write their Roll Number and Programme in
the Examination Application and on the Challan.
12. Application received after the last date ie: 24.05.2012 will be rejected
without any correspondence.
13. Student are prohibited to bring Mobile Phones to the Examination Hall.
If candidates are found with mobile phones they will be seized and a
case of malpractice will be booked.

2. Admission Tickets will be issued to the candidates at the respective
Examination Centers TWO DAYS before the commencement of Examination.
3. Admission Tickets will not be sent by post. Admission Tickets will be issued
to the candidates only after producing Identification Card with Photo
attested by the KSOU, Authorities. Identity Card should be carried to the
Examination Hall every day without fail.
4. Admission Tickets will not be issued to candidates who have any kind of
dues to the University. Such candidates shall clear their dues before they
receive their Admission Tickets. They shall pay dues through the KSOU
Challan, The same may be handed over to Chief Superintendent of
examination in the examination Centre. Under no circumstance cash should
not be paid to any personnel in the examination centre The purpose of
payment of fees should be mentioned SBM Challan.
5. Correction, if any, in the Admission Tickets such as correction in name,
Register number, subject offered may be intimated to the Chief
Superintendent concerned in writing. A copy of the same may be sent to
the Registrar(Evaluation), KSOU, Manasagangothri, Mysore-06.
immediately for necessary action.
6. Candidates are requested to follow the instruction printed on Answer books.
7. For any reason, if the Government unexpectedly declares a holiday on any
day on which the Examination is already fixed, the Examination shall be
held as usual, unless otherwise heard from the university.
8. NO ADDITIONAL SHEETS WILL BE ISSUED TO THE STUDENT SINCE WE
HAVE PROVIDED A BOOKLET CONTAINING 36 PAGES. STUDENTS
SHOULD PLAN THEIR ANSWER AND UTILISE ONLY THOSE PAGES
EFFECTIVELY.
9. Students are prohibited to bring Mobile Phones to the Examination
Hall. If candidates are found with mobile phones, they will be seized
and a case of malpractice will be booked.
