Position Overview:<br />

Achieve annual numbers of people trained using CPR Anytime Family and Friends Programs through<br />

efficient management and satisfaction of customer needs within an assigned territory.<br />

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<br />

1) Achieve the goals established by the Alliance Managers for both Program and revenue targets in assigned<br />

territories<br />

2) Provide quality service to AHA customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding AHA values at all times.<br />

Achieve assigned numbers of people trained within specific territory.<br />

3) Responsible for consultative program development using the CPR Anytime product line. Including<br />

developing community CPR programs with key community organizations like municipal organizations or<br />

community groups and developing Hospital based CPR Anytime programs.<br />

a. Regular coverage of major potential organizations and key opinion leaders.<br />

b. Proper presentation of CPR Anytime Family and Friends programs.<br />

c. Communicate regularly with assigned appropriate AHA affiliates, and ECC staff within assigned<br />

territory<br />

d. Presentation of the methods of delivering and funding CPR Anytime Family and Friends programs.<br />

e. Efficient application of CPR Anytime in the context of the Chain of Survival.<br />

4) Responsible for CPR Anytime for Family and Friends and Infant CPR Anytime market development<br />

activities:<br />

a. Focus on development and maintenance of key regional reference sites & centers of excellence<br />

b. Present the CPR Anytime concept to ensure program agency and opinion leaders’ adoption of the<br />

concept.<br />

c. Frequent market feedback on programs and contribution to sharing success with other AHA staff.<br />

d. Responsible for supporting the development of CPR Anytime programs with key Alliance resources<br />

including AHA Community Strategies Managers, Major Gifts Managers and Affiliate Staff.<br />

5) Provide ongoing customer support to program and community leaders in the assigned territory.<br />

6) Actively probe for all AHA activities. Refer leads to the appropriate personnel in both organizations.<br />

7) Timely and accurate fulfillment of Program Administration duties:<br />

a. Expense Reporting<br />

b. Program Call Reporting<br />

c. Telephone contact with Program Manager.<br />

d. Daily use of Seibel<br />

e. Update customer data base via Siebel<br />

8) Undertake other duties as designated from time to time by the CPR Anytime Alliance Program Director<br />

Responsibility and Decision Making Authority:<br />

• Act independently; Decision making within Company policy<br />

Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:<br />

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<br />

• Strong program management skills and organizational skills for proper territory planning/management.<br />

• Working knowledge of healthcare and medical education community organizations and fund-raising<br />

agencies within assigned territory.<br />

• Excellent oral, written and telephone skills. Strong interpersonal skills.<br />

• Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.<br />

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of cardiovascular system a plus.<br />

• Computer literate with knowledge of word processing applications and Excel spreadsheets.<br />

Education and Experience:<br />

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business (preferred) and three years field experience (in sales or<br />

corporate development work, fund-raising, or training center support) with medical equipment; OR,<br />

Associates Degree in above mention fields of study, supported by 5 years of field experience<br />

Licensing and Certification:<br />

Working Hours:<br />

• Hours may vary and will require evening and weekend work depending on business needs<br />

and will require working overtime.<br />

Working Environment:<br />

• Home office based<br />

• Presentations and meetings at AHA facilities as well as customer sites<br />

Tools and Equipment Used:<br />

• Personal computer, copier, fax, phone, and other typical office equipment<br />

• Demonstration product<br />

Travel:<br />

• Ability to travel as required by role<br />

• between 40% and 60% of the time.<br />

Physical Demands:<br />

• Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment<br />

• Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.<br />

• Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person<br />

• Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to<br />

another
