MOD Independence Day policy<br />

Supervisors may use a liberal leave policy<br />

especially if work requirements are<br />

reduced significantly on the holiday.<br />

Employees are required to work, or they may<br />

request leave. Activities should schedule<br />

workloads to ensure effective utilization <strong>of</strong><br />

MOD employees on those days. Employees<br />

will be excused from duty, with pay, only<br />

when circumstances prevent management<br />

Cross Summer Youth Volunteer program<br />

June 26, 30 and July 7 in Building 950. Preregistration<br />

Home buying<br />

A stateside home buying seminar will be<br />

at the <strong>RAF</strong> Mildenhall family support center<br />

from 1 to 4 p.m., Tuesday. This class should<br />

be taken one year prior to a PCS move. Learn<br />

about preparing financially, finding that<br />

dream home, obtaining a mortgage and closing<br />

the deal.<br />

Employment connections<br />

Employment connections will be 9 a.m. to<br />

noon Monday at the <strong>RAF</strong> Mildenhall family<br />

support center. This class will help people<br />

learn about the local labor market and find<br />

out what jobs are available on and <strong>of</strong>f base.<br />

Personnel specialists will be available to<br />

answer questions concerning hiring procedures<br />

and also provide applications for job<br />

vacancies.<br />

Love and logic parenting<br />

Love and Logic parenting course will be<br />

8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., June 24. The class<br />

helps with raising children to be responsible<br />

and respectful.<br />
