On the New Account screen:
Name: Your Name
Address: Your <strong>SAIC</strong> email
address
Password: Your <strong>SAIC</strong> email
password
Description: “Saic:” should
automatically show. You can
rename this whatever you
like.
Then click “Next”

Your IMAP email should now
be configured. Make sure the
switch is turned on for “Mail”
If “Notes” is switched on, any
notes you make in the Notes
app on your iPhone will be
synced with your <strong>SAIC</strong> <strong>Gmail</strong>
account. They will show <strong>up</strong>
with the label “Notes” when
you’re logged into the <strong>Gmail</strong>

Note that the IMAP button is
selected.
Under “Incoming Mail
Server,” enter the following:
Host Name:
imap.gmail.com
User Name: Your <strong>SAIC</strong>
username (make sure to
include “@artic.edu”)
Password: This should
already be filled in with your
email password

In the Accounts list, you
should see your account
listed by the description
entered in step 6.

Scroll down to “Outgoing
Mail Server,” and enter the
following:
Host Name:
smtp.gmail.com
User Name: Your <strong>SAIC</strong>
username (be sure to include
“@artic.edu”)
Password: Fill in your <strong>SAIC</strong>
password
Click “Next”
It will now verify your
account information. This
may take several minutes.
