ACTIVITIES<br />
Issue of Instructions<br />
Road books and service crew instructions can be collected by the competitor at documentation<br />
between 1400 and 1700 at the Eden Fishermen’s Club on Saturday 8 th June.<br />
Competitor Briefing<br />
The competitor and service crew briefing will be conducted at 1800 on Saturday at the Eden<br />
Fishermen’s Club The briefing is compulsory for both of the crew members. Service crews are<br />
welcome to attend.<br />
40 TH JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS EVENING ON SATURDAY<br />
This year’s event will feature a special night to remember the 40 th Jubilee of the name of the event.<br />
Prominent past competitors Ross Dunkerton, Ed Mulligan, Bob Watson, David Officer and Neal<br />
Bates most probably will be in attendance and competitors and officials are invited to join the<br />
festivities. Gather in the Captain’s Table Room at the Eden Fishermen’s Club around 2000, where<br />
Max Roberts (who competed in 1973) will act as MC for the evening. Anyone interested is welcome.<br />
Presentation<br />
The presentation of outright trophies will be made at the Club on Sunday, commencing<br />
approximately at 2100. All are welcome to attend and the Club which will provide a smorgasbord<br />
for purchase.<br />
START OF EVENT<br />
The start of the event will be at the Snug Cove Wharf, and the first classic vehicle leaves at 0730.<br />
Vehicles will start at two minute intervals. A service crew member is permitted to present the<br />
vehicle to the assembly area.<br />
Reporting to the Start Assembly Area<br />
Competitors may arrive at the start location at any time, but no later than the ‘report’ time below<br />
(eg: a crew may wish to arrive quite early to partake of breakfast at the local cafes).<br />
