The Women & Children's Directorate (an Acute Operating Division of <strong>NHS</strong> <strong>Greater</strong> <strong>Glasgow</strong> & <strong>Clyde</strong>) is a world leader in the<br />
care of child <strong>and</strong> maternal health services. Located in the West end of <strong>Glasgow</strong> the hospital campus houses the famous Royal<br />
Hospital for Sick Children with many national <strong>and</strong> regional specialist tertiary services. Applications are invited for a post in<br />
paediatric otolaryngology providing training at the level of an experienced specialist registrar. The postholder will benefit from<br />
extensive exposure to paediatric airway disorders within the NSD-designated Scottish National Service for Complex Paediatric<br />
Airway Reconstruction. The department also undertakes a varied workload of secondary <strong>and</strong> tertiary-level paediatric<br />
otolaryngology including head <strong>and</strong> neck surgery, chronic otitis media surgery, bone-anchored hearing aids, <strong>and</strong> audiological<br />
medicine. The post holder will join a team including 5 consultant otolaryngologists, an associate specialist, two speciality<br />
registrars <strong>and</strong> a GP Trainee. The department also has a consultant in paediatric audiological medicine, <strong>and</strong> a complex airways<br />
<strong>and</strong> tracheostomy clinical nurse specialist. The department has a developing research portfolio <strong>and</strong> is actively involved in<br />
undergraduate <strong>and</strong> postgraduate education. Applications are sought primarily from dynamic individuals who hold a CCT (or will<br />
do so by the commencement of the post) in otolaryngology <strong>and</strong> who are looking to gain additional paediatric experience prior to<br />

West Dunbartonshire Child <strong>and</strong> Adolescent Mental Health Service require a Clinical Psychologist (B<strong>and</strong> 8a) to work as part of the<br />
Young People in Mind Service (YPIM). The YPIM Service is funded by West Dunbartonshire Local Authority <strong>and</strong> is a joint<br />
initiative between CAMHS <strong>and</strong> Social Work to develop an integrated mental health service for looked after <strong>and</strong> accommodated<br />
children <strong>and</strong> young people in West Dunbartonshire. This group of young people are amongst the most vulnerable <strong>and</strong> often<br />
have complex needs. The team offer consultation, training <strong>and</strong> support to residential unit staff, social workers, link workers,<br />
foster carers, education <strong>and</strong> health staff within the young person's system to address mental health needs. Some of the young<br />
people require direct clinical assessment <strong>and</strong> intervention while partner agencies continue to work in a collaborative <strong>and</strong><br />
integrated way. As a member of the YPIM service you would work alongside a Social Worker <strong>and</strong> LAAC Nurse employed<br />
specifically to work with children <strong>and</strong> young people who are looked-after <strong>and</strong> accommodated. Opportunities for close working<br />
with multidisciplinary CAMHS colleagues as well as those from partner agencies creates a strong network of professionals<br />
supporting the mental health needs of children <strong>and</strong> young people across West Dunbartonshire. You would have active<br />
professional links with the Clinical Psychologists based within the CAMHS team for supervision, joint working, peer support <strong>and</strong><br />
CPD opportunities. You would also be part of a network of some 60 psychologists working with children <strong>and</strong> young people in<br />
